ahhaha Daemon was like a fluffy ball of love, joy and pride as he said that, he is so proud of his Rhaenyra and loves her to death, despite his impulsiveness and short-temper, DAEMON REALLY IS A SIMP FOR RHAENYRA, look at him

everyone standing there with serious faces, and Daemon is willing Corlys sailing to Dragonstone to declare for his wifey Rhaenyra to BE TRUE. Look at how happy and proud he is as he's saying Corlys is sailing to Dragonstone TO DECLARE FOR HIS QUEEN loudly, not doubting Corlys could not declare for her for a second because queen Rhaenyra is obviously everything and ofc everyone who's sane must understand :D :

there's no one who'd be a BIGGER fan of Rhaenyra than Daemon, for real :D he's so devoted it hurts

And Rhaenys is just 1000% done with with Daemon-we've got dragon Maelys too-Corlys is gonna declare for his queen Rhaenyra, also, this is Rhaenyra, my queen, my wifey, her grace"-Targaryen :D

Rhaenys is constantly trying to make it clear that nothing is so sure when it comes to her and Velaryon support, she seems to be reluctant, she often repeats it's not her war. + Rhaenys STILL thinks Daemon and Rhaenyra off-ed Laenor just to be able to marry Old Valyria style and get it on and have babies asap, and all that RIGHT AFTER the death of her children, their former spouses

-> which is also probably making Rhaenys question how much Daemon/Rhaenyra loved/respected Rhaenys's children.... (ofc this is not something Rhaenys can forget. But then again, Rhaena is being raised by Rhaenyra+Daemon, and both Baela and Rhaena are Rhaenys' blood and they love their daddy and at least Rhaena totally seems to be bonded with her step mom Rhaenyra, she is all smiley around her, gives her wine right after Rhaenyra comes to the room, Rhaena seems to genuinely care:") it shows Daemon+Rhaenyra have been loving and caring parents to all their children )

ANYWAY, right after Rhaenys expresses hesitance over the idea of Corlys declaring for Rhaenyra, Daemon's face changes instantly, look at this manchild :D

Daemon DOES NOT like anyone raining on his 'Rhaenyra my wifey queen' parade :D he does not like or accept a reluctant or even hesitant reaction to declaring for his wife queen

DAEMON "Come with me Jace, i'm gonna show you LOYALTY" Targaryen

^^ and i think everyone on Dragonstone already knows that Daemon is a simp for his wife :D bet they've seen him like this way too many times already

So yeah.... Daemon is impulsive, he can be cruel and heartless and just plain violent to literally ANYONE, /and the showrunners believe he can even be short-tempered with Rhaenyra (in critical life-threatening situations when under stress and after painful losses of their baby/brother/father, and under pressure, when overcome by fear for the safety of his family's lives.)/ but it's absolutely clear that he LOVES HER TO DEATH and would kill for her and die for her, would go anywhere for her and would do ANYTHING to protect her and their kids.

And THAT (among other things) is why we all adore this malewife Daemon Targaryen.

- the episode was not it, but I'm not ready to let them go, so here are some thoughts. But I wanna make clear that I do absolutely not support daemons behavior this episode -

Daemon loves rhaenyra. He loves her more then he ever loved anyone else. And I want to point that out again, no matter what happened in episode 10.

He saw her growing up. He saw her falling in love with the world, while having the burden of being a female heir on her small shoulders. He teached her high valyrian, they started having little conversations, only for their ears.

He gifted her the necklace and she wore it for years, touching it for conformt.

We saw them both covered in blood, having the restless and burning blood of the dragon.

We saw daemon yearning for her, we saw him getting overwhelmed with his feelings when they had their first kiss, when he tasted her and what they maybe could become. He got scared but still asked viserys for her hand, making clear that he wants her and only her.

We saw him losing it at her wedding ceremony, grabbing her face, going insane because he knew there was not really something he could do about it, that he had to let her go.

He spend years with laena trying to erase the memory of rhaenyra, being hunted by the thoughts about her, knowing she now has kids, that she has grown up, is a mother now but still out of his reach.

When they finally reunited, she told him that she needs him, that she really wants him at her side, that she still feels the same for him, maybe even more now as it now is not only desire or crushing but really feeling this deep connection and love.

They married in the tradition of their house, they had their boys, even naming one after his brother and her father viserys, honoring him.

He was desperate for her touch, holding her hand all the time, seeking comfort in having her near.

And he killed vaemond for calling her a whore, without hesitation, wanting his blood and making clear that he will not let anyone talk that way about her.

He heared her calling for him while giving birth, heard her scream his name. And maybe he just froze, having laena in his mind, how things ended the last time he heard a women scream that way.

And this time is his love. His soulmate. But he tries to do what he can, prepare everything for her but it's not what she needs. "I need you"

He kneels before her. He goes down for her. He has that crown in his hands, but he puts it on her head.

My rhaenyra. My Queen.

He is grieving. Grieving for viserys. Grieving for his lost child, another one.

But he still thinks he has to function. To do what needs to be done, at least what he things needs to be done. He shuts down his feelings, building up a wall.

And then there is this feeling of betrayal. A feeling he knows. Viserys and rhaenyra not telling him about the prophecy. Maybe making him feel like he was not worth knowing it, that they didn't trust him enough.

And then there is the rage. The anger. The pain. He loses himself, loses the connection to her. And in a way I think he tried to make up for it by going to vermithor.

- Once again, I do not support this behavior and for me personally this was absolutely devasting and felt just out of character but this scene does not disappear so. -

And we see him smile when rhaenyra comes to the bridge on syrax back, remembering the last time that happened and this time she is his wife, his queen, mother to his children, on his side, against otto. He reacts to her, he stopps when she tell him to.

And when he hears about luke he comes for her. Taking her hand, knowing that he is about to rip her heart out but that she needs to know. Now.

rhaenys burns the greens in the pit, goes to dragonstone to tell rhaenyra about the coup but says she’s already fixed everything. they all go back to king’s landing and the true queen is crowned. rhaenys is the queen’s hand. baby visenya is born a few weeks after the crowning. rhaenyra and daemon are living the pure domestic bliss with all their children. they all lived happily ever after. THE END! good night everyone!

No one Loved Viserys more than his Brother Daemon. Had Viserys chose to trust on his own blood and shown the faith he showered on Otto Hightower on his Own Brother there would have never been a war.

Daemon would never have betrayed him or Rhaenyra. Daemon deserved being the HAND.

Time may have created a distance, but Viserys and Daemon will always be brothers. One of the most beautiful scenes of the season! It made me cry. I will miss them so so Much!😭

Yes, I will say it, the fact that Daemon, a bad guy, has repressed his sexual and romantic desires for the girl he is in love due to being twice her age says more about him than the act of him murdering his first wife with a rock.

And yes, I know, Laena was younger than Rhaenyra, but Daemon was never in love with Laena.
