Why are people mad about Jamie like if you have truly seen how Jamie has developed over the years especially after the past episodes, you should know that he said those things about cersei and how he’s going back not to suddenly bend the knee to her, especially since we know he does love brienne. He is going down there to do anything in his power to stop cersei not support her. And he also knows brienne wouldn’t have let him go through that alone and would’ve tried to stop him so he did what he could, tried to shove his own feelings away and by purposely hurting her so that he can leave to do whatever he can do to stop all this bloodshed and that has always been true to his character. If anyone believes otherwise just look at the entire scene or Jamie’s arc for goodness sake.
