Starflight and Clay (both from Wings of Fire) are both disabled- Starflight is blind (canon!) and Clay uses a leg brace (semi-headcanon: he canonically has a limp in his hindleg but I imagine he gets a brace for it later)

Cross sans has OCD and ASD

I know he’s a very rigid solider and he needs his schedule and everything needs to be in order and be tidy and clean or else everything will explode and it’ll all be his fault. Also, he can’t handle most foods cause they sound/feel weird to his mouth so he mainly only eats mexican food and chocolate milk

Autistic people of color are wildly under-diagnosed compared to their white peers, and the Autistic People of Color Fund aims to help that. They’ve directly given 300k in microgrants to individual autistic people of color and are intent on pushing the autistic standard away from white men and providing a safe space for autistic women, non-binary/trans individuals, and people of color.

A big theme in Momma CQ is Error’s struggle with Geno’s declining health. Under the interpretation that he’s autistic, it makes sense—autistic children often struggle with the inconsistencies chronic illness can bring, as well as meltdowns/shutdowns due to the mounting stress and the difficulty to process it. This is likely the case for Joshua’s son. Joshua is a father of two, a teenager and autistic child, and is suffering from kidney cancer.
