The beginning of All Systems Red is probably the fastest I've ever been hooked by a book, the first line alone got me pretty good but the whole first chapter has stuck in my head- the visuals, the timing and pacing of each line, every time I've relistened/reread it (too many times to admit) it I can see it so vividly so finally drew them to release them from my head
(I've already realized I feel I made Secunit too tall and long in these but releasing them before I say I'm going to redraw it all again)

i hate when i, a completely healthy person (very chronically ill), get sick (flare up) for no reason at all (i exerted myself way past my limit just cuz i didn’t wanna be “annoying”)

remembering every single k-12 english class I ever took where you could pick a book to do an assignment on and every teacher said ‘oh of course you can read a nonfiction book!’ when I asked, but every single part of the actual project would be hyper-tailored to traditional novels only (which I would only find out after reading a 500 page textbook about fleas or something), and I would be forced to write using technicalities and not actually engage with anything I learned
#it can be up to a 6 month wait for a consultation for a cleaning here#up to 9 sometimes#its bad here man#if you go into the ER for a tooth problem you likely won't be seen or will just be given antibiotics and told to look up a emergency dentist#in what world are teeth not a part of health?? our HEALTHCARE system is a fucking rigged game and we're not allowed to stop playing#I have strong opinions about the American Healthcare system#I have strong opinions about America in general tbh#I love my home. I love it. I just wish it wasn't being run into the fucking ground by millionares while the people I love are just surviving#we will survive this and build a better world together. I have to believe that. I have to. I have to. I do.

do not let anybody convince you that the world was built for two. do not ever ever buy into the idea that once you’re married or once you’re in a committed and long term relationship with somebody, that’s all you need to get by in life. do not let anyone convince you that you’re supposed to go at it alone either. do not let anybody make you believe that you’re better off alone. it’s no way to live. the world was built for communities full of love and compassion and the desire to extend oneself for the wellbeing of another. it is in your best interest and humanity’s best interest to learn how to be in communities again. do not let them take away from you what makes life transcendental and special.

you guys need to let go of any rigid belief in what being nonbinary is because it can be anything. like someone can look completely average in gender presentation and do literally nothing to set themselves apart from their assigned gender and still be nonbinary.
#YEAH!!!!#ive had people ask if ive quote 'detransitioned' because of how i dress#and i have to say 'actually im still nonbinary!! i dress like a nonbinary person because i am a nonbinary person!!'#nonbinary people look like people! because we are people! and this narrow definition of how we should or should not dress/act/look is just#another way to put people into neat little boxes. im not 'halfway to a boy halfway to a girl' im not 'kinda masc kinda fem' im nonbinary!#im neither!!#i dont want to be in these neat little boxes or definitions or whatever#i learned at a very young age that trying to look the way other people wanted me to be would kill me and make me miserable the whole time#we've all only got so long on this earth#if someone wants to spend their time policing the way others express their identity then they live a very sad life.
