Common signs and symptoms of rabies include:

general anxiety

confusion and agitation

severe hydrophobia

Headaches

Some causes may include;

Animal bites or scratched

contact with animal saliva or brain tissue in the eyes, nose, and mouth.

People who are more likely to get rabies:

people who are outdoors often

people who spend a lot of time with wild animals

hikers, campers, etc.

Conclusion: There is a small chance Molly has Rabies, however there is for some reason a higher chance that Mal has rabies. this may be due to Molly being better at animal handling, if you have read the short comic 'somewhere that's green', you can see pretty clearly that Mal holds the cat-cti poorly, like a football in some instances. Also, it is heavily implied Mal is from a city of some sort, or at least a small town that's city like, so while hanging out behind a gas station or beneath a bridge, she might have come in contact with a stray dog or two. Of course this all is highly improbable because Mal would be dead a whole lot sooner as well as exhibiting much more severe and a higher extensive of symptoms.

So like, I've recently been re-reading Lumberjanes for the thousandth time- and I realized how similar Abigail and Molly's mother look sometimes. Like, did she notice? Just finished catching up on the webcomic Aurora and now my Tumblr dashboard has a bunch of "love and prioritize yourself!" type posts and I feel like they're not getting The Point.

Aurora is my new favorite webcomic bc it introduces a Cool Dude™ and you’re like “woagh that sure is a Cool Dude™. I hope he has everything he loves stripped away from him and becomes a pathetic loser.” And then! He does! Like two pages later! Amazing! Revolutionary! I hope he gets worse!
