every time i listen to the song i remember eren. “get free” is what he always wanted. and so many lines in the song make me think about him

1. “Finally...

the “finally” is just so suiting for the end. eren finally gets away from all the shit he did in the world, and he can finally reveal what he intended with it. he doesn’t have to keep it from his friends anymore, he doesn’t have to lie to them.

And the darkness from the arts”

what he did saved so many people from the dead. he brought back the ones who turned into titans. there is no more darkness, and so he brought peace

he really did do it for all of them. he did it all for his friends. the entire plan, manifesto, was for them. what he committed was all for his friends :’)

this really just speaks for itself. his birds of paradise, his friends. they were caught up in the dance of killing others and each-other. they never got to fly, and be free

To play someone's game, or live my own life”

eren was in a war with himself. he knew everything before anyone else, he knew who he was going to kill and he knew he couldn’t do anything about it. then he had to play along with zeke and yelena’s game for the sake of others safety

Were not in your right mind”

this describes how people would blame him and hate him. until they found out he just wasn’t doing okay. he was overwhelmed. and in the end, everything he did was for them

i love parisian, it’s my one of my favorites. but it also suits jean so damn well... there’s one episode where we saw a glimpse of him drawing a girl and that finished my conclusion that jean is a classy ass parisian chic. period. he probably also writes poems about his friends and crushes on the backside of the drawings. i feel like “la vie en rose” is too much of a cliché song pick for this moodboard but it works.. heroes by david bowie was my second choice tho.
