their right Yk, when they say you spend everyday of childhood pining for its end (or so you think, really what you want is to be treated like a real person - an equal - good fucking luck) then the second it’s over (and I’m not talking the day you turn 18 I’m talking the thing that can happen at 27 or 9 or 15 where everything feels the same, a grey tastes mush of life, the day you become grain in a flour mill, but also the great stone grinders, some parts of you endlessly flowing being obliterated with all the pain of such a death, only to be replaced in an instant. Other parts different slower more steady wearing over the years not quite right but were they ever? Those parts you’ll learn can’t be repaired. When the grey winter sky you used to love is nothing but the sign of another tiring beginning and you forget your own fucking birthday, even when you remember just in time only because of a freinds kind offering, you don’t do anything for it, don’t have time, just another day in the endless sea) you wish you were back before all this horror and exhaustion
