My Top 3 Favorite Places here in the Philippines
They said, "It's More Fun in The Philippines!" and they are not wrong, it's really fun here in the Philippines. So for todays blog, I'm going to share with you all guys my top 3 favorite places here in our country. My first one is Tagaytay City, Cavite. This is the second summer capital of the Philippines because of it's high elevation, the temperature are way low than nearby Metro Manila, if you want a quick getaway from city life, Tagaytay is the place for you, it's proximity makes it ideal for student or worker whos working in Metro. I went here when I'm was studying in Manila back here 2015, my friend who has a house there invite us to stay there for weekend, we went to Peoples Park, Skyranch, Puzzle Museum and the famous for it's view, Starbucks coffee shop, especially at night, the view is amazing. Before we went back to Metro we stopped on a Batangas Lomi House, didn't eat my lomi because my head was so painful, I regret that til today because that lomi looks freakin delicious. :( That weekend was so fun though, I will never forget that. And I went back there when I had my On The Job training in Greenhills, this time I'm with someone who's very special to me, the trip was something I will never forget haha its a secret shhhhhh My second one is Mt. Arayat, Pampanga. We went here with my high school friends during Holy Week, people climb the mountain to top, Catholics calls it "penitensya". I joined them for two purposes, first is for regilous, second is for experience. We only reach the second peak because we can't climb anymore because of exhaustion but still, the view was stunning over looking the province of Kapampangan. While we were admiring the view, we met these lovely and humble young girls, little chitchat, they ask for our name and facebook account. It's been 3 years but til to this day, every Holy Week they are asking if we are going to climb again, unfortunately, we never had the chance to go back. No no no no, they were waaaaaay younger than me. #NoToChildAbuse LOL My third and last is The Summer Capital, Baguio City. Theres a hugot quote stating "from 1-Baguio gaana sya ka cold sayo?" Funny, right? Yep, Baguio is so darn cold at a times. I went here in August of 2017 with my friend from BU, it was 3 days trip. The whole 3 days was so fun, we went to famous landmark in Baguio, buying clothes in night market, playing billiard and drinking Brandy in the house we stayed it. Lucky me I got my own room, I'm not used to room sharing with anyone. When we were on our way home, the journey was so fun. My mum called me "Bumili ka lettuce", "Ma, wala akong lettuce na makita dito sa daan". Shes mad when I arrived home without lettuce. ugh And yeahhh, that's my Top 3 favorite places. As what I learned with my professor in Environmental Tourism, "Take only pictures, leave only footprints, kill nothing but time”. H.
