My Thoughts on You- David Dobrik

I’m back writing and this is something I’ve been working on as of lately, I hope you guys like it as much as I enjoyed writing this.

“Absolutely fuck you David!” You yelled in anger, trying to push him out of your apartment to no avail. David just looking at you with tears in his eyes and a little bit of disappointment, you meant everything to him. Now you looked like he could disappear and it wouldn’t mean anything to you, not that any of that was true. The look you gave him was the final straw to leave before being able to push him out, crying when you slammed the door shut.

This fight was like no other and you didn’t know what to do, it was like all of your repressed feelings were brought up in this fight. Simple things like him forgetting to bring you with him when he went out to him accusing you of cheating on him, anger boiling through you when it came to that.

You stuck with him through his schedule, hate from fans, and worrying about him being in danger with the situations he puts himself in. How dare he even accuse you of even thinking of anyone else other than him, he was it for you even if you didn’t want to admit it at the current moment. “Fucking hell” You muttered to yourself when realizing what you just did, realization setting in before you decided to give yourself a bath.

Something to relax you while you thought about what the next step would even be, you did love David but things were building up for a while between you two. You didn’t want to lose him but you couldn’t hold onto something that was damaged any longer, not if you were sacrificing yourself in the meantime.

“Open up!” You heard from your door, knocking following the muffled voice making you sigh since you were so close to relaxing. You went over to the door after putting on a robe, opening it to see Carly and Erin standing in front of you. The both of them looking at you sadly before taking you into a hug, holding you close and trying to help you.

“David called us, he was really worried about you” Carly muttered, Erin agreeing with her before breaking apart the group hug and sitting on the couch. You and Carly joining her before the two of them looked at you, immediately wanting to get to the point. “I don’t know what to do, I feel like our relationship has went to shit” You confessed, something that you’ve been holding it just blurted out.

“Trust us (Y/N), he loves you but I don’t think he’s liking the feelings coming with you lately if that makes sense” Carly explained, Erin coming over to hug you as tight as she could. You loved David and you knew that you needed him no matter what could be happen between the two of you, but your breaking point was close. You both have had fights before but this one felt major and you were glad that you weren’t alone but you just wished David had fought a little harder for you.

“He really does love you (Y/N), he just can’t read the situation right especially between all the fights” Erin explained truthfully, you knew they were close and they definitely talked about your tumultuous relationship as of late. You looked up at her to see a caring face but you couldn’t really think of that when you just kicked David out of your apartment for him accusing you of something. You knew he was a very jealous person and unsure of himself when it came to relationships but you were extremely hurt by him.

Soon you heard a knock at your door, Carly getting up to go answer it while you and Erin talked about everything that had happened today. “Are you okay?” Natalie’s voice echoed throughout your apartment, looking up at her you knew there was concern that you knew came from David. “How did you get here so fast?” You asked the brunette with confusion, you lived at least 30 minutes from David so that means she couldn’t have been at David’s.

“I was out helping his stylist with what he was going to wear at his next award show, he called me about you” Natalie admitted, smiling at you before you looked at her again. You felt a single tear slip out before you nodded to her, instructing everyone to step out so you could leave to go to David’s house. All of the girls offering a ride, you soon told them no but instead calling an Uber since you knew what you were about to do was going to be painful to everyone and you didn’t want anyone at the house with you two.

“David we’ve been fighting for a month now, it seems like we wake up and that’s all it takes for us” You admitted to David with tears in your eyes, David matching you in a way that broke your heart. David soon realized what you were hinting at, soon shaking his head no continuously before trying to reach out to you with you soon pulling back. His touch was something that you knew you were weak for, if you felt it you knew you would go back on everything you built up strength for.

“You know I really felt like after this we would get back together but here you are and you’re breaking up with me, I know it so stop stalling” David admitted while looking you directly into your eyes. You wiped away your tears before looking at David with the same intensity he was giving you, he was giving you too much power in that moment. “Why will you fight with me but not for me it’s not making any sense” You asked David hoping to get a straightforward answer.

“It’s what you want, I told you before that it’s whatever you want because i will do anything for you. Including this, even if it breaks me it’s for you” David simply stated as if it was the easiest thing in the world. You soon got up off the couch in order to pace back and forth, David watching you like a hawk as you tried cooling off. “All I want is for you to fight for me in this relationship, I’m never important to you” You yelled at him causing David to stand up and get in front of you.

Soon his stare felt like daggers as he stood in front of you with a tense stance and body language you couldn’t decipher. “You are important to me but you’re not the only thing that matters, I still have work and so many other things in my life. I love you but apparently it’s not enough for you” David yelled back, with that yell you knew he was fired up. You rolled your eyes at David, you knew he had his moments of stupid but you thought that was the top moment for him.

“Are you kidding? I love you too but guess what, I actually put some effort in and you know what I have spent so much time alone recently does it even make sense? You never talk to me anymore so I don’t get why I’m around” You confessed to David, his expression softening as he looked at how sad you were.

“Listen I need you always have and always will, the same thing with me loving you. I know we can fix this but we both need to try, I don’t want to lose you” David pleaded, the both of you soon arguing about any and everything you can think of before a knock at the door surprised both of you.

“I’ll get it” David muttered while you sat on his couch, tired from all the fighting you didn’t know you had in you. David appeared with a box in his hand, giving it to you as he turned away. You immediately opened the box to see a picture with memories of yours and David’s relationship you had throughout the years. “What is this?” You asked David, confused as to why he had something like this in the first place. David sighed, running his hands through his hair and taking the picture from you to look at it.

“Your birthday is next week and I was going to give this to you, I know you love sentimental things and since I’m not going to be seeing you then you should take it now. Proof as to even though you don’t think so, I really do care about you” David confessed. The room fell silent with a pregnant pause as you looked on at all the memories you two had created together along with your friends. There were some things that you didn’t even realize David captured from when you went to the infamous swing that overlooked LA to take the picture of Todd for the cover of his song he wrote for Natalie.

You tried it out and there was a picture there for that, you looked happier than you did now which meant it was early in your relationship. There were other photos too, including one where you guys ate spaghetti Lady and the Tramp style which was his idea but he told everyone it was yours. “David I love this so much, thank you” You thanked him as you looked over everything that you were about to give up.

“Listen I know I can’t read everything right between these fights, but I love you and need you. Stay with me even if it’s just for one night, it would mean the world” David asked you with sincerity. You looked up at him to see he really needed you near him for the night, even if was for the next few hours he still needed you. “Yeah sure David let’s go to bed” You agreed, leading him off to his room for the night.
