Rise Leo: Alternate me and my brothers! Say hello to me and my brothers newest family member Casey Jr! He's Cass's boy from the future!!!
Rise Casey Jr awkwardly: Hello......
2012 boys:............
2012 Donnie sweating in fear:.....Oh sweet science there's three of them.
2012 Raph giddily: Oh my God there's three of them.
2012 Mikey excited: Dudes this is insane-!!!
2012 Leo curious: What's your relation to him in the future if you don't mind me asking?
Rise Mikey: Oh-! Well Casey Jr is Leo's student!!!
Rise Raph: He trained him in the future during the Kranng invasion.
Rise Donnie: He even calls Leon sensei which is really weird to hear sometimes.
Rise Casey Jr: Master Leonardo is an amazing ninja, back in my time he basically raised me and taught me everything I know.
2012 Raph, Mikey and Donnie looking between 2012 Leo and Rise Leo:.......
Rise Leo uneasy: Why y'all looking at me like that?
2012 Leo silently weary of his brothers all of a sudden
2012 Raph, Mikey and Donnie at the same time: Oh my God he's the mom friend.
Rise Raph, Mikey and Donnie confused then hitting a realization:......omg you're right he is the mom friend, why are all Leos moms???????
2012 Leo and Rise Leo slightly offended: Excuse you we're not like that-
Rise Casey Jr watching in stunned awe, both variations of his Sensei chew out their brothers in a somewhat parental disappointment:......omg they are the moms of the group-
I feel like after the movie instead of Leo being reckless with the safety of the team now, he’s instead reckless with the safety of himself. He’s a better leader now sure, but he keeps taking heavy hits for his brothers, making sure he’s the last one out during a dangerous situation. He puts his family first 100% but at the same time is like really bad at self care
His bros would be so tired of it, like they just almost lost him to the prison dimension and he keeps pulling these stunts and putting himself in danger for them. They would have to be like “Leo if you don’t stop with this self sacrificial nonsense right now—“
People talk about the incredible visuals in rottmnt, and for good stinkin reason, but can we appreciate specifically the style of the show? And I don’t just mean the way the characters are drawn to set the show apart from other series.
I mean how the artists incorporate influences from anime, comic books, and other media into the show.
I mean the 70s and 80s influences.
I mean the usage of text onscreen and how the characters physically interact with it.
I mean how the style dramatically shifts to show a tonal or cultural change.
The entire show is eye candy and it gets me so, so excited.
