Don’t forget that next Thursday our good friend Ed Vick is joining us at The Table, for an afternoon chat over coffee and cookies.
Ed was not only CEO and Chairman of Y&R; he is a decorated former US naval officer and volunteer worker for veterans' causes. In 2003, he published the historical novel Slingshot based on his experiences during the war.
Ed will be joining us from 3:00pm to 3:30pm on Thursday, April 17th in Café 285.

Attention trivia lovers (or just anyone who is highly competitive and stores tons of strange facts in their head) there is a Trivia Night this Thursday at the Sundowner! .
How about a practice run before the main event?

2) Q: How many people per team?
Clue: The square root of 36.
3) Q: What does the winning team get?
Clue: If you take 25 and multiply that by the square root of 36, that’s the monetary value – and it includes a pub.

QUESTION: Conference & Team Room Spaces
A couple things about conference and team room spaces:
1. Seating -- Perhaps we could consider some simple benches along the walls in rooms for times when we exceed the # of available chairs?
2. Connectivity -- Likely a pet peeve only for those of us with Mac laptops but most rooms lack the basic connectivity pieces to allow us to hook to the TV screens (I think those with PC's have what they need in the room). It would be great to see the 'dongles' and whatever else is needed for us to connect in.

We do have some benches available - if you think your meeting is likely to need extra seating, please let building services know so that they can provide benches or extra seating. There are benches on the conference floors that can be used in other spaces when needed.
Also, your IT requests have been forwarded and we hope to provide the necessary cables and new connections as soon as possible.
