If you’re European, in a couple of weeks you will be denied any and all access to fandom contents on Tumblr and everywhere else on the internet. Here’s why.

On June, 20th the JURI of European Parliament approved of the articles 11 and 13 of the new Copyright Law. These articles are also known as the “Link Tax” and the “Censorship Machines” articles.

Articles 13 in particular forces every internet platform to filter all the contents we upload online, ending once and for all the fandom culture. Which means you won’t be able to upload any type of fandom works like fan arts, fan fictions, gif sets from your favourite films and series, edits, because it’s all copyrighted material. And you won’t also be able to share, enjoy or download other’s contents, because the use of links will be completely restricted.

But not everything’s lost yet. There’s another round of voting scheduled for the early days of July.

What you can do now to save our internet, is to share these informations with all of your family members and friends, and to ask to your MEP (the members of the European Parliament from your country) to vote NO at the next round, to vote against articles 11 and 13.

Finally able to recognise his love in front of him he broke down. With his body quivering from both sadness and sheer cold he quickly reached out to her to pull her into a tight hug. He sobbed for what seemed like a lifetime only blurting out several apologies along the way. “I’m so sorry Naoko... I really am so sorry...” Pressing his still wet face closer against hers did help his panic go down, and soon enough he was calming down, letting go his tight grip from the fabric of her shirt slowly, facing her again.

After having sitting like that for a while he gradually came back to his senses, remembering he was still butt naked whilst sitting in front of her. He quickly looked down at himself and back up towards her, the cold white skin on his cheeks turning redder than a beet. “I... uhm...” He stammered, his arms now completely letting go of her, awkwardly finding their way back to the sides of his body. 

Not only that, he also noticed how he left her clothes drenched in water as well. “I... I should get some clothes first...” Swiftly he got up and darted towards his room, drying himself off with a towel first and dressing in some comfortable training-wear he still had laying around, as well as getting some for his love. Almost as a walk of shame, he got back into the living room, handing her the dry clothes.

Though she had tried not to make any sudden movements initially when she had moved closer to the male, so as not to spook him, she couldn’t help the urgency that drove her. Seeing him like this broke her heart– and she wanted to do what she could. 

Kuina’s eyes told her a story of fright and terror as he panicked in front of her. She could not even begin to imagine what it was that could have scared him this badly to cause this sort of response. To say she was worried was an understatement, especially when he made another attempt to flee from her. What if she couldn’t get through to him? What if she failed to save him from what his mind was projecting before him? 

When she felt the warmth of tears roll over her hand, she quickly brought the hand holding onto his to his other cheek to cup his face as she sat more squarely in front of him. “Yes, Kuina. It’s me. I’m here.” She kept her voice quiet as he came out of his panic, never once looking away. “You’re safe now, I promise.”
