Duolingo- No surprise that Duolingo is on this list, it is great for beginners.
Bunpo- This will help you memorize hiragana and katakana, it even will teach you some Kanji, it was my go-to when I was a beginner.
Hey Japan- Like Duolingo, but it teaches harder material sooner.
Podbean- Great for learning lots of languages, Podbean is a podcast app, it provides you with some exposure.
Kana Town- Another great app when memorizing hiragana and katakana.
