You shook your head and you can see the two loosened up a bit, they've been quite tense huh.

"I believe, we owe those two this time huh, Vox?" Shu looked over his shoulder to see the demon looking at you, frowning. He sighed at Shu' statement, "Hate to admit, but it seems like it."

The two grew silent and then Shu looked back at you, the concern is still there, the worry are still in his eyes. "We apologize for our negligence, no, my negligence. Because if I were to think it through, you wouldn't have-" "Shu, it's okay, I know you mean well..." You cut him off, his eyes soften slightly as he looked like he's about to cry right at this moment. But before you could do anything about it Shu suddenly stood up and turned against you, "Apologies for my rudeness, give me a moment." Shu stepped away and now it's Vox's turn to approach you.

"Seems like we won't be letting you wander around freely from now on." You blinked confusedly at the Demon, then you remembered on the scream and cries you heard coming from your village. Hesitantly, you look at Vox and asked, "Um.. the village, my, hometown.. what happened to them?" The way Vox's eyes widen and then looked away in disappointment, the frustration in his eyes.

You can hear the stutter of his breath, "Ambushed." His reply is short, but your heart dropped when you heard his voice, shaking. "..Are you saying they're all.." You stopped, you looked at him. Then at Shu at the distance, the silence is so loud.

Shu and Vox no longer saying anything, leaving you hanging on what happened in the village, your hometown. Is everyone dead? Are they no longer here? A question appeared one after another, anxiety builds up at the thought of the people you've seen everyday are now, .. gone.

. . .

And it was true.

Everything is burned down, ruined, it reeks of blood as you step into the village that was used to be filled with laughter, and joy of each villagers. Now only leaving trail of blood followed with some houses have been burnt down by some yokais, you walked through the familiar path, companied with Shu and Vox behind you.

It took them a week to let you go out after this incident, and as you walk, you heard a chuckle at the distance. Then the figure who saved you last time appeared from a corner, "Well well, what a coincidence" Shu's identical smiled at you then his eyes went over at the two figures behind you.

"Hikarino." You heard a voice coming from behind you, it belongs to Shu. "Ha, ..Nice to see you too, Yamino." You turned slightly to see Shu and Vox's expression, and when you look back at this Shu's identical, called as, Hikarino? Are no longer alone, Vox's identical appeared out of nowhere by Hikarino' side smiling gently at you. "Nice to see you again little human."

. . .

You don't understand what exactly happened, but one thing for sure is that, Shu, Vox, Hikarino and Box. Does not get along well with each other, they're completely opposites of each other.

You stood between them as you tried to process what happened, but you don't understand what they're talking about at all. Leaving you confused and clueless, "Just tell us what is it that you want." Shu sounded slightly desperate as he look at Hikarino and Box.

"You know exactly what we want though, dear Yamino" Hikarino mocked and chuckled, "Sacrifice need to be made." Box added, smiling oh so innocently. "Your choice is simple, be it you sacrifice one to save others, or sacrifice others to save one."

Shu and Vox didn't say anything, and sacrifice? Who? You?? Even more questions appeared inside one's mind, "Give us some time." Shu said, Hikarino obliged and soon him and Box left the three of you all alone.

You look over at Shu and Vox, "Sacrifice..?" You repeated that one word that is repeated by Hikarino, Shu's jaw clenched as he tried to figure out what to do in this situation. "Let's, head back." Vox said, and the three of you made your journey back to the forest and back to the house. While you're all on your way, it was so, silent. Nobody's talking.

In the living room, the three of you sat down on the tatami floor, Vox is at the terrace. Meanwhile Shu and you are sitting across each other, in silence.

"Am I going to be okay?" You broke the silence, earning a scoff from the Demon, "You're going to be fine with us. Don't think too much about it." He added, you glanced over Shu who's looking at you apologetically. "Did I make you worry? Apologies.." You shook your hands in front of you, "I did, didn't I?" He chuckled softly,

"Don't worry, you're going to be safe with us. I promise."

A/N: okay so LITEERALLY i had the BEST fucking dream ever tge day before yesterday. I was so sad when the dream didnt have a part 2 yesterday 😔 anywho i had a dream with my crush and it was the most romantic shit every i shit you not.

You had a crush on Shu. If that wasn't obvious enough by the way you act. Anyhow, you two were in the same PE class, usually he's amazing at PE, with those hands you know he's athletic. But today in particular, Shu felt tired. He didn't feel much like participating, which led him into a dilemma since his teammates were yelling at him to run faster and what not. Leading Shu into a conflicting state, he barely talked during the games and he felt.. down.

You wanted to check up on him on multiple occasions, but were scared. Scared to disturb him, what if he doesn't want to talk to anyone right now? What if he doesn't even wanna talk to you?

To respect his personal boundaries, you decided to leave him me until he feels better. Shu was never really an outgoing person all the time, but he always had a calm smile on his face that made you feel better when you look at him. His smile, his voice, his laugh, everything. It hurts to see him so down but there really isn't much of a choice anyways.

As the round came to an end, and the teacher gave everyone a break. You took several glances at Shu, and every time, he looked awfully dark. He was avoiding everyone's gaze and went outside to refill is water. As you took a seat within your group for the round, you saw that your whole group went outside for whatever reason.

Seeing that there was no one in particular around to talk to, you just sat down on the chairs (idk why there were chairs in pe class, dreams are weird) with your head hung low, you were left with your own thoughts and daydreams.

Until someone came up behind you.

Suddenly, you felt a breath near your neck, looking behind you in an instant, your eyes widened when Shu buried his face onto your neck, hugging you waist from the back as you stared at him in confusion.

"S-Shu?? What's wro-"

" 'm tired.." he whispered onto your neck, you could feel his hot breath against the skin of your neck as your face flushed red.

Speechless, you both stood their in silence as Shu keeps his face buried onto your neck, both your faces nearly touching.

"(name)..?" he whispered again, feeling his breath tingle on your skin was a.. new sensation, to say the least. This was unexpected, coming from the one and only, SHU YAMINO?? But you can't say it's an unpleasant experience either. In fact, you actually kind of enjoyed it.

"yes?"

"I feel like a burden on my group.." he said, his voice low and tired as his face is buried onto your neck deeper. Your flushed face glowing red.

"you're no-"

"do you wanna switch class with me?" He spoke in a hushed tone, looking up staring directly into your eyes as you both made eye contact. His eyes were gorgeous.

"are you okay shu?"

A/n !

I see some wanted to see me write for these two again ! Yes again, I have wrote about these two in Polyamorous relationship before !

If you're new here, This is the first fic i wrote about them !

One who's afraid of his own sorcery, never trusting his own powers. One who never talked about himself, also avoiding talking about his past.

There is some rumors going around the village said that if you ever went into the forbidden forest, you'll be eaten alive by demons, yokais, evil spirits.

Some said there is a Demon that have inhumane height, big wings, accompanied with a Sorcerer that have a high intelligence of dark magic. Some said that they're both are always together, if you see one, the other is definitely nearby.

And you were quite curious of that, some said it's a myth, some said it's true. You thought that it would be a good idea to see if it's true or not.

Here you are now, walking down the path, bought nothing but yourself and a lantern. You thought you'll just go through this forest for an hour or so before going back to the village, and everything goes according to plan !

Nothing happened,

You did got lost for quite awhile, but you manage to return back to the village in one piece. You're a bit disappointed upon the discovery, nothing happened when you entered the forbidden forest.

So you went to visit again the next day, the same exact hour, and again you walked out still disappointed. Nothing happened, you went on doing it for a whole week, and all of those days you wasted at night only filled with disappointment.

One day, you were having a quite hassle at your workplace. Not only that, even in your household. That is your worst day in the week, you went out to take a breather at night, you didn't even realize where your foot is taking you until you're standing in the middle of an open space in the fortunately familiar forest.

You turned, to see you're surrounded by trees, and trees. Of course, because you're in a forest, until you realized that a path slowly opens before you. The trees moved, opening a path for you leading to a well kept house at the distance. You hesitantly walked down the path, as you get closer, you didn't realize the trees behind you closed the path behind you.

The moon shines bright above you, shining down upon the house and you. Who' standing before the house, entranced by the beauty of the surroundings. Sakura trees bloomed around the house, rocky path before you leading to the sliding door, the side is a small wellspring where people usually wash their hands and mouth for to purify themselves before approaching the shrine.

You can hear the water flowing, the sakura trees rustling against each other. It was so peaceful, it made you don't want to leave this beautiful place.

Until you heard a loud thud behind you, soon followed with a low growl. Your body frozen, refuses to move, your feet refuses to take a step, you slowly turn around to see a tall, large being, staring down at you, his lips parted slightly, emitting smokes, and his large wings flapping slightly on his back made your body shiver.

Your eyes met with the beast, the Demon. It approaches you, oh so slowly. Making you falter, and fell down. Earning another growl from the Demon in front of you, soon you felt your back hit something. You look up to see a figure looming down over you, smiling.

"Well well, an unexpected guest..!" The male with a beautiful, long, raven hair slowly slides over from his shoulder, some hitting your shoulder, he leaned away and whispered an apology for his hair.

"Apologies, my hair is quite a hassle," He started as he kneeled next to you, looking at you curiously. "You know you could've got consumed if I came late" The male with a long raven hair, that have a rather unique iconic yellow hair at the left side.

His eyes are violet, it's so enchanting to stare at. The long raven haired male glanced over at the beast who had stopped moving, 10 feet away from you. "You should thank me for coming at the right moment before you're consumed by him" he chuckled before slowly standing back up again and stared down at you.

The demon took a step next to the long raven haired male, "I believe you already know what we are? Especially from those, rumors going on around your village" His violet eyes stares back into yours. He smiled, his smile is quite unique. It made your heart skipped a beat.

And then realization falls before you, you stared at the large figure behind this beautiful man who have such a long raven hair that's mixed with purple, pink and yellow.

These two are the two figures that the villagers mentioned,

The Demon and The Sorcerer.

"I, I'm sorry for disturbing you two, I," You glanced down upon yourself, "My head was in distraught, I had a bad day today. I didn't even realize where my foot is taking me" You started rambling. The two didn't say anything, they just silently stare at you.

"Shu" You glanced back up, "Huh?" "Shu Yamino, that's my name" He introduced himself. "And this," his hand extended to the side, pointing at the figure near him. "This is Vox Akuma." Shu introduced the other, "We'll let you stay, just for tonight since it's dangerous for someone like you, a human to wander around this forest at night"

Soon, the large figure behind Shu, Vox, slowly getting engulfed by smoke around him. And then when he stepped out, he is a whole different being. His golden eyes pierced into yours, his two horns on his forehead made him look appealing.

"Truly, I would've eaten you up if it was not for Shu stopping me from doing so." Your body shivers when you heard his low husky voice, "Go rest Human, Tomorrow morning you should be already in your room" Vox said before walking pass you, and stopped a few steps behind you.

"Don't think we don't know what you're doing last week" He said before disappearing into the house, Shu who had been standing quietly finally let out a small chuckle. "Apologies, he usually don't act that way, perhaps he just doesn't want to repeat the same incident" He said as he helped you get off from the ground.

"Incident?" The Sorcerer smiled agitatedly, "Whoops, I said too much," he said as he then start walking towards the house, "Come, I'll show you the room you're staying in for the night."

You hesitantly followed Shu, walking down the wooden floors, sometimes it creaked sometimes it doesn't. As you followed him, you noticed that this house is pretty decent, like how houses should normally be.

These type of houses usually would be owned by rich people, but to see such house in the forbidden forest made you wonder, your train of thoughts was come to a stop by a voice coming from the male before you.

"Stay curious, but try not to find out about your curiosity." The Sorcerer turned his head a bit, looking at you over his shoulder, his identic smile appeared once more. "You should be thankful you're alive right now, you could've been a whole feast for us" he chuckled softly at his questionable statement, "O, Okay" You replied, and then Shu slides the door next to him, "Here is your room, do avoid to wander around the house, okay?" He said as he wait for you to step into the room.

"Then again, humans are stubborn, if you want to wander around, go ahead," He said, his violet eyes no longer look friendly, "But this time I do not guarantee your safety." He said before his friendly face appeared again within a blink. "Well then, Goodbye, human" He said as he bow slightly before sliding the door close.

Leaving you alone in the room, it looks pretty cozy, with the table in the middle of the room, and then a vase on it, along with a futon folded up at the corner. The moon shines through the window, making the room look quite. Lonely.

You sat near the window and looked up at the night sky, at the moon who high up in the dark sky. Accompanied by the stars around it,

It's beautiful.

Your thoughts now goes back to those two, The demon and The Sorcerer. They look like they're not quite fond with humans, especially Vox, he seems to despise you.

Shu seems more friendlier, but he, there is something wrong with him that doesn't click right on you. It's like, he is physically there, but also not there.

Your eyes slowly gets drowsy, but before you fell asleep on the window, you get to the futon, opening them, and you just scoot into the futon. The moment your head hits the pillow, you're out cold.

Birds chirping outside, you opened your eyes to see a familiar ceiling, you looked around.

It's your room.

It's exactly like Vox said, you're now back into your room, you don't know how they did it, but one thing is that, You want to see them again, will fate let you see them again?

Will they let you see them again? Question after question kept on appearing one after another, you want to see them, but do they want to see you?

You sighed at the thought and went on your day with them plaguing your thoughts.

. . .

Night arrives and your stubborn self standing outside the forbidden forest, holding a latern. But before you step into the forest, you heard a familiar voice.

"Foolish human"

"Haha, you're a stubborn one, I thought the warning is enough, don't you value your life?"

You turned to see where the voice coming from, nowhere, and then you look up at one of the trees, you see a familiar raven purple hair dangling, then a violet eyes staring back into yours from the dark.

Then under the tree there's a piercing golden eyes looking back into yours too, but then those eyes slowly turned pink, and then there' smoke emits from the dark.

The familiar large figure looms out from the dark, you didn't realize your hands clenched onto your latern so tightly, "Do you know what you're getting yourself into, human?" The demon's voice growled as he stand tall under the shades.

"No, I don't, or maybe I do" You said as you look at these two who's in the shades, "Turn back, don't make things more difficult than it already is." Shu's enchanting voice demanded, "You wouldn't want to know what's going on inside this forest now" he continued and let out a chuckle.

"Let them be Shu, humans are stubborn, if they want to die then let them die." Vox turned around and walked away, soon Shu jumped down from the tree and stares at you, smiling. Though his eyes isn't.

And then you blinked, and Shu is standing right before you, his face right next to your ears, making your breath hitched. "You are nothing but food to those beings in the forest, if you want to be feasted on that badly then go ahead. Both I and Vox told you to stay away for your own safety." He leaned back a bit, you both stared at each other.

Shu's gloved hand touches your chin, "Someone like you doesn't belong in this hellish place," he whispered, his thumb glaze along the lines of your chin. "But Humans are stubborn by nature, when they want something, they will get them no matter what, no?" He leans dangerously close to your lips.

But then let out a small laugh as he stepped away and walked away from you like he did nothing wrong, leaving you breathless, dumbfounded on the spot.

"If you still insisting on going then go ahead, because this time they're no longer hiding." That is the last thing he said before leaving you alone, you looked around, your legs almost lost it's strength after what the Sorcerer did.

You couldn't forget his scent, he smells rather sweet, and intoxicatingly addictive.

That night you didn't enter the forest, you turned your back on the foresy and walked away, you can't forget what Shu did to you that time.

It plays on loop on your head, he was so close to you, you can feel his breath, his scent strokes your nostrils to the addictive amount, his voice sounds enchanting.

Ugh, he is so intoxicating.

. . .

Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months. You didn't visit the forbidden forest like how they wanted you to be, but you'll be lying if you didn't miss them.

One night you went to the forest again, and the same incident happened once more.

"Just when I thought you'll stop coming back forever, of course you're going to return." A familiar husky voice echoed through your eardrums, you tilt your head to the owner of the voice. "Vox.." You whispered his name, as you do he walked out from the shades, taking a few steps before stopping a few feet before you.

His golden eyes bore into yours, he then approached you, closer, and closer. To the point he's so close to you that his figure is looming over you, "Leave," he started.

"While I asked nicely." His eyes soften a slightly, but it disappears as quick as it appeared. "Why do you keep insisting on me leaving, Vox?" You asked him, he' silent. He didn't say anything, instead he leaned his face closer to yours.

"You really want to waste your life? "

His golden eyes stared into yours, filled with so many emotions. He then take a step back and walked away, "We're just trying to not let you waste your life as food, but of course your kind doesn't care and proceed on coming here and become free food to feast on." He said before stopping on his tracks, he looked over his shoulder, "Though if you do want to be food that bad," he trailed off "I could feast on you, and you won't be feeling any pain."

"Ha, how ridiculous Vox" "Tsk, well nevermind then" Vox sighed softly as he eyed Shu who innocently walked out from the dark, smiling at you and then him, "Well, it's nice to see you again human, I thought you're already getting feasted on" he laughed softly.

"It's good to see you still in one piece" He glanced at you, "Though, you came at the worst timing" Shu said as she shove his hands into his sleeves, "Tonight is Red Moon, they're going out to find humans to feast on" he said casually, both his violet eyes glistens under the moonlight, along with Vox's golden eyes staring at yours.

"Well? Do you want to be feasted on? Or do you still want to live?"

"Turn and walk away if you still want to live, or You will be eaten alive right here and now"

"Haha, that sounds so brutal Vox, you could've been a bit more subtle about it"

"Hmh, ..So, what do you choose?"

But before you could have a moment to think, you hear footsteps coming closer to the three of you, all of you turned to see who's approaching.

"Oh.. Uninvited guests" Shu said as he took a step before you, shielding you away from the 'uninvited guests'. Vox at the other hand summoned his katana, "Well I have no plan on sharing." The demon said as he stared at the distance, "Haha, well at least you're sharing with me?"

Both of them talked about sharing and you have no idea what exactly are they talking about, both of them then stopped talking and look back at you.

Shu's violet eyes narrowed, as he smiled at you.

Vox's golen eyes coldly stares into yours, looking at you, like, you're his prey.

Oh dear, what's going to happen to you?

The sounds of rushed heels clicking as you ran through the dark alleyway followed by the loud heavy breathing, taking turns to lose the person from behind you.

He did not look like Ike, he looked way different than Ike. He seemed different, his aura didn’t feel safe, it felt eerie.

You just wanted to visit Ike to get your things you left at his house, only to be towered over by “Ike” who seemed to have dyed his hair and given himself golden contact lenses.

But enough of that, you managed to take a turn and lost him. You sighed in relief as you tried to calm your nerves down, back pressed onto the walls. You tried to figure out why he’s like this, what happened to him and how did this even happen?

The last time you saw him wasn’t something you’d want to look back at either. He was stressed and gave you the cold shoulder, you scolded him to take care of his mental health and take breaks every now and then to which he responded with a door slammed onto your face.

You decided it was time to give him some space, knowing he’s not the type of person who would leave you alone after being stressed out but it’s been weeks. You couldn’t help but come over to his house and–

“ Found you. “

The voice gave you chills as you looked up at the figure towering over you with his golden eyes glowing in the dark of the alley.

You felt your body tense up and move but the man in front of you was fast enough, grabbing your wrist in the process. “ Now, now.. we don’t want you running away hm? “ He chuckled darkly, staring into your eyes filled with fear. “ Trust me, sweetheart. You don’t want to run away from someone like me. “

“ Or else you’ll end up like them. “ He took out a picture from his pocket, showing you the souls he took. You felt your stomach turn when you saw the image, covering your mouth as you nodded.

The man hummed and smiled, putting back the picture into his pocket, “ Good girl. “ He stated with his eyes closed, “ ..How about we go back to the house? “

You wanted to refuse, you didn’t want to be with this guy the whole day or else you’ll feel uncomfortable, “ ..I can hear your thoughts, Reader. “

and that was the last thing you heard before everything turned black in your vision.

You slowly started to regain your vision, the room was dark. The only light you can see is from the bottom of the door in front of you.

You tried to study the room, only to realize you were tied up to a pole with your back pressed against it. You started to panic but before you could the door in front of you started to open revealing the figure you encountered only for the figure to chuckle.

“ Took you a while to wake up, I thought you were about to die because of the drug. “ The figure said, turning on the lights of the room revealing his features making your heart drop at the sight of him.

He fixed himself, wiping some red stains off his face before he turned to you with an eerie smile, “ ..Speechless now, are we? “ He said, studying your body.

When you didn’t respond to him, he hummed as he walked up to a table and pulled out a picture. “ ..You know, you’ve caught my eye for a while. “ He spoke up as he flapped the picture for a clearer image.

He turned around with the same smile he gave to you, “ ..No wonder Ike wanted you for himself. “ He mumbled, you could hear him clearly as you started to open up your mouth.

“ ..Who even are you? “ You questioned, making the man lift his head up in the direction of your voice “ ..Little lamb can finally speak, mmh? “ He trails off, placing the image in front of you.

“ ..Well, then. The name’s Eki. “ He introduced himself, staring at you with that golden eyes of his. “ ..Your beloved Ike Eveland’s Alter Ego. “ He stated.

You stared at him for a while wondering if this was the reason why Ike was keeping his distance from you. He never told you about Eki before.

Too clouded with your own thoughts, you looked down at the picture that was placed in front of you which made your stomach drop. It was a picture of your stalker lying on the dirt with blood poured all over him.

“ ..You like what you see? “ He spoke up, adjusting his glasses as he lifted your chin by his finger. “ ..Pretty sight, isn’t it? “ He paused, “ I didn’t like how that asshole was touchy feeling with you, so i outed him. “

With your silent as your answer, Eki sighed before staring into your eyes, “ Well, someone gotta protect you. “ He gave you a grin, as if the things he did were nothing, “ after all, someone as fragile as you could seriously get fooled so easily.. “ He mumbled.

“ w-why.. why are you– just why are you doing this..? “ You choked out a sentence even if your throat feels like it was getting dry, making Eki turn his head towards you “ That damn novelist has everything I wanted, I might as well play with his doll toy that he wants to keep as a secret so much. “ He scoffed, turning his head away.

He paused for a while, “ ..though it would be nice if you stayed here forever. “ he gave a grin, “ like your legs wouldn’t work, so you don’t have to run away from me.. “

His last sentence made all the hairs on your body go up, you struggled against the rope as Eki watched you pathetically try to escape.

“ There’s no use, honey.. You look pathetic struggling against those ropes. “ He stated in a dark tone, lifting your chin up and making you stare into his eyes as if he was trying to hypnotize you.

“ You’re gonna be with me forever and ever until we both fucking die. “

Ike smiled as you slowly started to calm down, his eyes momentarily fade into the familiar golden-ish color for a bit but you shrugged it off as one of your imagination.

THE NOVELIST AND BOOKS.

The soft melody filling the room as the man with glasses flips through his pages, describing his stories to his students until one plops itself onto the man’s hand.

The man stopped reading to his students, adjusting his glasses as he placed the fluff ball onto his palm “ ..Is something wrong? “ He asked before receiving no response.

He stayed silent for a while, understanding the silence he was given to him “ ..Ah, It’s that time hm? “ He hummed, the corner of his lips curling up into a soft smile as he placed the fluff ball onto the floor.

The fluff ball that he placed down was called a quilldren. His students are not regular humans but more of a cute fluffy balls that you would find in a toy store but nonetheless, they were more than that.

Every single time it was the time where their story finally comes to an end, they’ll finally hatch into their human form and give the man a book with their desired name.

No matter how many times every single quilldren’s stories ends, he’ll keep their books in his library so that they will never be forgotten and will always be remembered. They were also the reason why the man’s life gotten better with the endless support from his colleagues and his quilldren, he never felt more happier.

Once their memories and stories filled in the books, he’d turn the pages and closed the book before placing a soft kiss onto the book.

Each book from his library of every quilldren that finally hits their time aren’t always in text form. Some quilldrens are artists or even photographers, so each book with those type of quilldrens will be filled with sketches or even the pictures they left in their memories or even their own dvd.

The man let out a sigh, placing the book inside of his shelf with the name of the recent quilldren carved onto the side of the book. “ Sleep well, älskling. “ He’d let out a smile before he walked out of the library with the clicking sounds of his heels following along with him and filling up the long corridor.

There’s another question for him though, something he would couldn’t put a finger on it or more simply, get the answer for it

Who would put his own book into his shelf when his story ends?

› summary: you're exhausted and can barely keep your eyes open after a long day of classes, but you can't seem to drag yourself to your bathroom to wash up. luckily your boyfriend is here to help.

after an arduous day of lectures and labs, your feet are hurting and your back is sore. when you arrived at your apartment, you immediately toed off your shoes and flopped onto your shared bed, arms spread out and facing the ceiling. that was twenty minutes ago now, and you don't see yourself moving anytime soon.

there's faint humming coming from the attached bathroom—a little tune that's been popular on tiktok lately. breathing in deeply, you catch the scent of luca's cologne. it's subtle yet comforting, and you find yourself slowly falling asleep to his voice and the muffled city street.

the door to the bathroom suddenly opens, spilling yellow light into the room and directly onto your face. your nose scrunches and you turn away from the light as luca pads out. a gentle nudge to your back has you groaning.

"babe?" luca whispers. he leans down, bringing his face close to yours and you can smell the mint of his toothpaste. a calloused hand brushes a stray strand of hair aside as you grunt in reply.

"hey, you okay?" he asks, a little worried. blearily opening one eye, you can see the slight furrow of his brow. turning to rest fully on your back, you wave your hand in his general direction as you close your eyes once again.

"'m fine, just tired," you mumble. luca hums and you can hear his footsteps as he walks away. the sound of the creaky bathroom cabinet opening startles you, and suddenly there's something cold and wet rubbing across your face. luca gently wipe away your concealer and eyeshadow, taking care not to be too rough on your skin.

"you're gonna get pimples if you sleep in your makeup again," he chides. blinking your eyes open, you lay still as he removes all the product from your face and grins when he deems yourself clean enough for his standards. taking ahold of your arm, he hoists you into a seated position.

"stay," he orders, and you watch as luca ducks into the bathroom once again only to come out holding a headband and your foaming cleanser in one hand and a small bowl of water in the other. there's a small facial towel draped over his left arm as well. he sets the bowl down on the bedside table and sits beside you, angling your body toward him.

"can you look up for me?" he asks gently, maneuvering your head to put the headband on properly and pushing your hair away from your face. from there, he dips the towel into the water and wipes your face down one more time. taking the bottle of cleanser, he pumps a small dollop onto his palm and rubs his hands together before slowly massaging the soap into your skin. he takes care to wipe the foam off your eyes and lips and hums the same song as earlier.

luca proceeds to go through the rest of your skincare and helps you brush your teeth ("hey, did y'know you have vampire fangs?" "wha?") without you having to remind him of anything even once—he's watched you do this routine for months—and although he doesn't know what the exact purpose of serum is, he can follow your routine to a t.

after he puts everything back in their respective positions, he helps you undress and change into a comfortable t-shirt that smells suspiciously of him. you flop onto your back on top of the covers as luca goes to turn off the lights. in the darkness, you watch him shrug off his tank top in favor of sleeping shirtless and fall into bed next to you, and he pulls you closer so that your head is tucked underneath his chin.

"thank you," you whisper, letting your eyes fall shut as a warm palm rubs your sides under your sleep shirt. luca tilts his head to leave a lingering kiss against your hair.

"of course," he says, voice low and tinged with concern. "you uh, seemed really tired today. i got a kinda worried."

"it wasn't anything big," you winced. "just had a long day 's all. but seriously, thank you for doing all that. you didn't have to." luca hushes you and squeezes you tightly.

"just because i didn't have to doesn't mean i don't want to. you help me out all the time, i just wanted to, y'know, return the favor." at his words, you squirm.

"thanks," you say shyly, tucking your face into his chest. he hums, and you slowly drift off to the sound of his voice and the soothing weight of his arm draped over you. noticing your soft, slow breathing, luca stops humming in favor of pressing his lips against your forehead.

"i love you," he murmurs, and even though you don't respond, he feels your affection in the way you cling to him in your sleep and falls asleep happy.

A Nice Trip

You were at the aquarium trip with your schoolmates. The aquarium is exquisite and filled with vibrant, coloured plants and unique fishes.

From the corner of your eye, you saw Mysta and his friends near the jellyfishes section. Their expressions looked so relaxed, it felt like all their worries were going away.

You told your friends to go ahead as you went up to Mysta, greeting the man with a warm smile that he loves very much “ I see that you really like the jellyfishes, hm? “ You started the conversation.

Once your eyes landed on the said jellyfishes you felt your eyes softened following with your body relaxing itself.

He chuckled in response, “ Mmh, yeah.. I just felt sort of related to it like the way it looks and the way it moves itself in the water. “ He explained, looking at the jellyfishes swim across him.

“ ..Really? How so? “ You questioned, raising an eyebrow in curiosity “ ..How is it even related to you, Mysta? “

Mysta stayed quiet for a bit as his face forming a warm smile at you, “ ..I just explained it to you, silly. “ He said, caressing your soft locks. “ It’s also lacking brains like me. “ He giggled making you laugh along with him as well.

And then that leads to this, you two going around the aquarium viewing the different attractions and giving your comments on it, spotting the same jellyfish attraction where you met him again.

“ ..Hey, do you know about the jellyfish syndrome? “ Mysta suddenly spoke up, staring at you with a blank face but quickly wiped off with a reassuring smile.

You pouted as you playfully punch his arm which made him chuckle and wince, “ Don’t stare at me like that again, but no.. I don’t. “ You saw yourself in his pupil when he was staring for too long.

He hummed, looking away “ I’ll tell you, you see how beautiful these jellyfishes are? “ He said, eyeing the jellyfishes.

One of the jellyfishes he landed his eyes on floated over to him as if it knows what Mysta wants, “ .. You still don’t know? “ He asked as you shook your head.

“ ..Okay, how about this. “ He gestured you to come over to him and held up ten fingers lowering himself to your preferred height, “ ..Tell me how many members in Luxiem by names, Y/N. “

“ .. Luca, Shu.. Ike, Vox.. and– “ Your mind went blank after that, “ .. Who’s..– “ Your sentence was cut off by Ike’s voice “ Y/N? Y/N? .. Are you okay? “ His face was filled with worry with the other three boys behind him with a concerned expression.

Vox was first to speak up, “ You’ve been staring at those jellyfishes for quiet a while now.. what’s going on in your head darling? “ He asked with his arms wrapped around a certain fox plushie.

“ ..Right, It was five.. “ You mumbled, “ .. It was him again. “ You said, feeling your shoulder slump, feeling a reassuring arm around your shoulder " What is the jellyfish syndrome? " You eyed at Ike as he adjusted his glasses. " .. Hm, from what I understand.. It's often confused with depression. " He rested his eyes, clicking his fingers " In most cases, it appears when a person experiences something so big.. " He paused, " They are shocked and gradually withdraw. " Shu clicking his fingers aswell, " Not everyone has this syndrome.. It is quite rare. " He felt his eyebrows scrunching up in worry, " ..We've been studying it for decades but we still can't explain anything.. " Shu frowned, eyeing Vox from the corner of his eyes. " ..So there will be lots of questions such as why does it appear and have a strange connection with jellyfishes.. " He mumbled, feeling the corner of your lips droop " ..Why is Mysta related to it? " You asked as the boys look down as if they've done something guilty. " Because he was the first person to die from this syndrome. " Luca spoke up, " ..Is that why I've been seeing visions of Mysta? " You asked, making the blonde man nod. The whole atmosphere went dark as you stood silent in disbelief, feeling the arms wrapped around you " ..It'll be okay, we're sorry for not telling you. " Ike said with a reassuring caress on your arm " How about we go to the attraction Mysta likes, hm? " You sighed, staring at the four people in disbelief with a nod. " I better get something from this. " You gave them a soft smile as the group nodded in agreement and made their way to the jellyfish tunnel. As you and the group were in awe at the jellyfishes, a certain man with grey ash hair and aqua eyes complimenting his features was watching from the corner with a warm smile.

" Have a nice trip, take care of them for me. "

the other fluttered his eyes up at him with his puffed up red cheeks and half lidded eyes, “ .. do you still have that wine..? i finished mine. “ he asked making the taller widened his eyes,

“ you drank the whole bottle?! “ he exclaimed, making the other nod his head in response, “ that’s enough, mon cheri.. you drank enough for tonight. “ he softened his eyes with a frown on his face.

the other giggled, “ hehe, sorry älskling.. but you were too cute that i couldn’t help myself to ask for more.. “ he boldly stated making the demon’s face turn crimson “ m-mon cheri, that’s enough.. head to bed okay? “ Vox said making the Ike frown “ but.. i want you to be in bed.. with me.. “

Those words broke Vox.

The demon mentally malfunctioned for a few minutes until he regained his composure, sighing “ I’ll eat first and I’ll be there with you.. Is that okay, Ike? “ Ike stayed quiet for a bit as if he’s thinking about it, “ ..Fine. “ He nodded, walking back to his shared bedroom with Vox

Vox smiled softly at the Novelist’s behaviour earlier, “ What a needy boy today. “ He mumbled following with a faint chuckle.

“ Back to cooking. “

After the demon finished eating his meal, he tied his black mane up into a ponytail with his golden eyes complimenting his features as he entered the room he shared with Ike, “ mon cheri? “ he called out, seeing the Novelist working on his new book.

The scene in front of Vox made his lips curl into a soft smile, he really admires the man that used to ignore his flirty remarks is now finally his husband

They are married with matching rings with their initials carved onto it. ( does it feel familiar? hehe~ )

“ what are you writing, mon cheri? “ He asked, looming over his sitting figure with his eyes scanning the words that are placed onto the paper “ ..another chapter? impressive. “ He complimented making the Novelist smile “ it’s the last chapter for this book, I have to make at least a thousand copies for it and sign them for my fans. “ He said with his closed eyes.

“ well then, mon cheri.. whatever you do, i’m proud of you. “ He said, caressing his brown locks slowly

after a while, they both pulled away gasping for air “ it felt nice doesn’t i– “ his sentence was cut off when he saw the novelist’s eyes tearing up.

“ it’s not healthy for you to be suffering like this, i’m here okay? you’re not fighting this alone.. i’ll be here with open arms. “ he reassured Ike which made him sob more into his shoulder

A sound of a hiss.

A his of s snake, can be heard behind the sliding door, you were planning to see how your Beloved Sorcerer doing.

It's been awhile, since you went out for quite sometime to visit another town, and you just got home.

You were confused on why does your Beloved doesn't greet you like usual, so you went to his room only for you to heard a sound of a snake hissing behind his room.

"Shu?" You hesitantly called out behind the sliding door, you slowly slide the door open and peeked inside his room. To see him sitting on the floor opening a scroll, and holding a snake that's slithering around his left arm.

You stared in horror, "W, Why is there, a snake? What happened when I'm gone to another town??" Shu blinked as both of you had a staring contest. "Ah babe! Welcome back, I forgot to greet you at the gate.." he smiled sheepishly at you as he scratch his cheek, "How was your trip?"

Shu briefly explained how the snake got into your shared home, and he himself also confused on how is the snake color is purple, coincidentally the same like him.

Your Beloved also told you he got a new fit, and right now he's changing, you're now having a staring contest with the purple snake that's on his desk.

You don't know what's going on inside the snake's mind, but it seems to understand that you're afraid, or perhaps, interested?

You slightly flinched when the snake started moving down from the desk, to you. You were quite hesitant to let the snake approach you or not, but in the end the snake is now in front of you.

Staring again.

"Uhm," You blinked at it, "... Hi.....?" You tried to pet the snake, the snake approached you and eventually his head touches your palm. The scales on your palm felt weird at first, but eventually you made yourself a bit calmer than before.

Soon after you felt the snake, slither around your arm then around your shoulder to the other side of your shoulder, you felt it's forked tongue poked your cheek. You giggled slightly as you move your face away slightly, "That tickles" you said, as if the snake understood you they bump their head gently at your cheek.

You are in awe.

Soon you heard the door slides open, you turned and see Shu in a different clothing.

So, much, skin, exposed.

You blinked and stare at him, same goes for the snake that is slithering around your shoulder, staring at him for a moment before slowly slides themselves off you, to him.

Shu crouched down, extending his hand towards the snake, and then you stare at this man in front of you who' smiling at the snake then at you, "I see you're now quite comfortable around the snake?" He chuckled as he let the snake slither around his left arm, "And, Well, this is the new fit" he said as he stood up and let you look at his clothes properly.

You slowly gets off from the floor and stood before him, looking at his fit properly, you walked around him before you stopped behind him and poke his exposed skin on the sides. Making him yelp, he then look at you a bit flustered.

"H, Hey now" He gently grabbed your hand and intertwined your fingers with his, "..Don't do that" He whispered as he slowly turned around and pull you by the waist, the snake that' still around his arms now slowly made their way to your waist, and then they went under your clothes. Making you flinch at the sensation of the snake' skin on yours.

"S, Shu-" You stuttered out his name, he hummed softly as a response, he leaned his face next to your ear, kissing your earlobe. Soon you felt his teeth grazing against them, making your body shudder.

"Hm? What is it?" He whispered, you felt the snake slithering around your waist, going up to your chest, and soon the snake's head appeared right next to your other ear. "Ah- Y, You-" You couldn't think of anything, your mind suddenly went blank.

The snake, Shu's voice, His hands on your waist, You can't think of anything but those.

He chuckled softly, "Cute " he whispered as his hand that was previously on your waist is now on your cheek, soon his hand is touching your other ear, leading the snake to slither it's tongue along the lines of your earlobes.

"So, Do you like my new clothes?" He asked, in a low whisper, making your body shiver once again when you felt his breath. "Mmh, Y, Yes.. It's, Beautiful.." You stuttered out, your hand grabbed onto his shoulder, not pulling not pushing him away.

"Hm.." He hummer softly right next to your ear, he kissed your earlobe one last time before leaning away from you, to see your face. "I'm glad you like it, ..it took awhile for me to gather the materials to get these clothes done" he chuckled as he then softly placed a kiss on your cheek, soon after he slowly led you to sit on his lap.

His hands on your thighs, thumb gently grazing along your skin as he look up at you, The snake is still wrapped around your body, hissing ever so slightly.

But his eyes says otherwise, his violet eyes staring back at the snake that's right next to your head. They seem to be, ..mad at each other?

Shu, who' still smiling stares at the snake,

"Hmm.." He hummed as he stared at the snake, his eyes narrowed slightly as his hand now gripped on your thighs a bit tighter. "..Shu?" You called out his name, his violet eyes goes to you and his eyes went soft. "Yes?" He responded, with his identic V-shaped smile. "Is, .. something wrong?" You ask as you glance at the snake next to you, Shu throw a glance at the snake one more time as you ask before looking back at you.

"Hm? Oh, it's nothing don't worry." He said as he then wrapped his arms around you, hugging you close to him, the snake at the other hand slithers out from your clothes and went around his waist for one moment before making it's way back to you, wrapping itself around your shoulders once more.

These two.

Are they, having a quarrel? What is happening, your brain couldn't comprehend what's happening between the two.

"Ah.." He let out a small growl, "Shouldn't have let them see you." He said in whisper as he now grabbing the snake and pull them away from your shoulder, "They belong to me." He stated as he stare at the purple snake with his identic V-shaped smile.

His hand went to your waist, he started kissing your neck, ignoring the snake's hisses behind you two, "S, Shu- The SnAKE-!?!!-" Your voice cracked up when you felt his teeth sank into your skin out of the blue. "You can ignore the snake, hehe.. sorry" he replied as he then kissed the mark as a silent apology before leaning away, to kiss you on your lips.

The snake hissed at his statement as if they're disagreeing on that, you stared at the two having a conversation? Your hand unconsciously wrapped around him, pulling your Beloved Sorcerer close to you.

"Mmnng.." You slightly whine when you lost the feeling of his lips on yours, his hand that was holding the snake is now on your waist too. Both of his hands on your waist, gently rubbing his thumb along the lines of your waist.

"Shall we, ..go further?" He asked in a whisper, the snake made it's way to his shoulder, both of them staring at you in, anticipation.

Shu glanced at the snake for one moment before he closed his eyes and smiled in defeat,

"It seems like I will have to share tonight "
