Este jueves se ha abierto una página web y una cuenta de Twitter para anunciar que el manga Wind Breaker de Satoru Nii será adaptado al anime. Este proyecto tendrá forma de serie de televisión y será animada por el estudio CloverWorks, responsables de Bocchi the Rock!, My Dress-Up Darling o Horimiya entre otros animes. También se ha mostrado una primera imagen promocional en el que se puede ver a Haruka Sakura, protagonista de este manga de pandilleros.

El instituto Fûrin se ha granjeado la peor reputación entre los centros de la zona por tener la media más baja y los alumnos más rebeldes. Haruka Sakura es un joven recién llegado a la ciudad que quiere convertirse en el más fuerte del barrio y así proteger a todos aquellos que le importan. Para conseguir su propósito, lo primero que debe hacer es unirse a una pandilla llamada Wind Breaker, que representa a su instituto y cuyo objetivo es defender la ciudad del resto de bandas y maleantes. Sin embargo, ¡para que lo acepten deberá ganarse el respeto a puñetazos!
