How does your OC handle their physical health? Do they take care of themselves?

No, She doesn't know how to take care of herself very well. Yulin would much rather die than be sick with a cold.

Below the readmore is a little write on how Yulin was taught to take care of herself by The Mistress of House Silence.

TW: Self Injury

I danced the blade's tip across my skin. Lightly, not even a scratch was made, but I recollect the feeling of having the sharpness cut pass my skin. My mind floods to relieve the pain of the vivid memory. I remembers how the Mistress placed the dagger into my hand the first time and turned my hand against myself

"A feeling inside of you that hurts and is hungers? That sounds like quite the illness my lovely Yujia. However, you know the best cure to any illness..."

The pain fed the hunger. The sight of my blood spilling from me gave a strange sense of control over everything. The Mistress had been so caring as she bandaged the wound and every time after too. It had felt like love.

Yulin places knife down on the table, and walks away. The kettle is ringing. A hand towel is next to it. Meant for taking the boiling kettle from the fire, but Yulin grabs it with bare hands. It burns just enough for the pain and for the relief.

Klergy - Hide and Seek

I held the Mistress' heart to her dying face. Crushing the bleeding organ in my hand as I stood over the Elezen woman. Finally I had all the power. Finally freed.

"Oh what sweet dream has you smiling like a fool?" Hotaru's voice interrupts Yulin's reprieve. Yulin sighs as she sat up, and almost refuses to answer but Hotaru stands there irritably stubborn.

"I dreamed of my revenge on the Mistress. How I would kill her a hundred times over."

"Because the revenge on merchant gave you such satisfaction? If you have time for idle fantasies, you could be helping in the gallery. So go."

Yulin glares, but complies. "Of course. I wouldn't disrupt the order of your house. Soon it will be like I never left House Silence. Mistress Hotaru."

Hotaru's face whiten more than the dead then became flush with rage. Yulin ducks with laughter as the dagger flies overhead.

While The Mistress is the antagonist of Yulin's story. I wouldn't make call her Yulin's enemy. Yulin's worst enemy is Hotaru and Yulin loves her for that. The two are hostile with each other with purpose.

One is the other's worst fear. Hotaru does remind Yulin of the Mistress of House Silence, just enough. If Yulin can hate and defy Hotaru then if she ever faces the Mistress again she hopes to stand on her own freewill. Then from Hotaru's perspective Yulin is what she could have been if she had stayed in House Silence any longer. However, it is worse if Hotaru becomes the very thing she fears, but Yulin wouldn't allow that to happen. Yulin would kill Hotaru if she ever truly became like the Mistress, and Hotaru would be glad for it.

In the end, each day the two have to overcome their fears just enough to trust each other to operate in the Hideaway.
