          I was sitting in my 8 AM English class this morning watching Episode one and taking notes on it since I’m writing an Evaluation Essay on the anime.

          I had about two pages of notes for episode one and when Victor arrived naked and Yuri yells out in shock it cuts to Yuri’s commentating. The tone is so different from his shock and yelling. He seems reminiscent and fond as he says,”Not once over the years has he ever ceased to surprised me.”

          Now, I have watched this anime multiple times over, but I have never been watching it and taking notes on what was going on. Yuri said years. Yuri is commentating the story line we are seeing from some time in the future. 

          This makes me think of the anime in an entirely new light. It’s almost like Yuri is looking back on everything during his time that was new with Victor, especially since that implies they were at least in touch for years. 

          What do you all think? Did you catch it? Am I just late to the party? Let me know!
