Wanted to try a contortionist pose so here it is. I want to work harder at anatomy, perspective and pose which requires lots of study and work so i’m going to be hitting those books because my art game level is too weak to aim at what i want to achieve. I’ve definitely found my love and interest for art again after taking time to rediscover what my goals are and just create for me and no one else. I feel like i’ve broken out of a mindset that has allowed me to be okay to just create without the pressures to maintain a certain aesthetic or look which was something that plagued my mind for so long due to being on social media even though I didn’t agree with it. It seriously hindered me from creating and being happy not to mention the immense guilt I had too. I’m now so excited by art i can’t stop drawing everyday and at one point that was a huge struggle for me because everything had to be a finished perfect product to bring back to you guys, if the feedback was ‘bad’ it meant I was bad (which simply isn’t true and sometimes i struggle with this currently). In the end i didn’t allow myself to grow the way I wanted and it led me to a path where i hated creating because of the image i felt i had to maintain as an artist. This was only supposed to be a quick doodle before bed but i decided to finish it off and give it a completed look this morning because I was just having way too much fun.
