Ok, but I’ve seen no one talk about the representation of Bob’s manic episode as Sentry. Hear me out.

He describes himself in the movie as having really high highs and really low lows. They never use the word but that’s clearly bipolar he’s describing. A manic episode followed by a depressive one.

The Void is clearly the representation of his depressive episode. Obviously. But I really think that fight as blonde boy Sentry was his mania.

It’s not the typical manic depiction we’re used to seeing, he’s very very calm during that scene. But a lot of times when experiencing mania people describe themselves as feeling indestructible, unstoppable. Bob literally calls himself a god. That’s, that’s mania, babes.

His mental health manifests in his powers. He literally becomes indestructible. He literally becomes nothing, a void.

In addition: In the end credit scene he says he can’t be Sentry without also being The Void. They go hand in hand, just like bipolar. Now, I know nothing about this guy’s comic counterpart, but going off of what the movie has shown us, I’m assuming that if he gets his mental health managed, he’s going to have both power sets. He’s going to have the Superman like powers and the shadow like powers. They’re intermingled.

The concept of avoxes in general is so horrible. Pollux who didn‘t see the sunlight for 5 years. The avoxes in Dr. Gaul‘s labs, screaming for help with their own cries being echoed back by capitol mutations. This shit haunts me���

I feel like the main 6 Avengers actually had really bad character development in Avengers Endgame because Clint didn’t really do anything, Bruce’s arc was skipped over, Natasha was killed off, Tony died even though it wasn’t necessary, Thor’s struggles where made into a joke and Steve left Bucky and all of his teammates to be with Peggy in past

A lot things that happened in Avengers Endgame felt more like character regressions instead of going forward

I gotta be honest, one of the things that's ruining MCU for me is the constant idea of one true romantic only love. Obsession.

Strange and Christine, Steve and Peggy. I mean, I know the base for superhero stories is fantasy, but... People must evolve, growth is necessary. You can't just erase the experience of moving on from someone! It's just as human as the empathy that drives heroes to save people!

Steve loved Peggy in his time, but then, when she was gone, he started feeling things for Sharon... Or at least they tried to construct something like that... Anyways. He moved on, she did in her own time, and BOOM he travels through time and ends up in the same universe but kldjlakhd sorry that shitty plothole got me confused most of the time.

Don't get me started with Doctor Strange from What if and his need for therapy and not power.
