Today I hated you more than I have so far. But it's not real hate. I meant it when I said I'd still love you always.

This will be the first time sleeping in this room since G died.

I hope you find your heart, soul and conscience again soon.

Nephew wanted to look through his little pile of photographs today. He came to the one of you and him at Christmas and said "auntie!".

He doesn't look for you at the window anymore but he still knows you're somewhere.

It's you I want to explore the Scottish Islands and Highlands with - crisp clean air and beautiful views with what was supposed to be our pup in tow.

It's you I want to explore Japan with - experiencing a whole new culture, trying new food and letting our inner children run wild a bit.

It's you I want to have the dream holiday in Florida with - experiencing the Disney magic, screaming beside on the rollercoasters.

It's you I want to go on all the city breaks with. Seeing more of Europe, exploring the museums, cathedrals, historic sites.

It's you I want to collect trinkets and art from our travels with to decorate our home.

It's you I want to sit next to on every plane, train, bus and car.

It's you I want to be beside in life.

When my new smile is finished I wanted you to be the first person I smiled at.

Funny how I've been waiting to feel like I can smile confidently for so many years yet when I can it'll be during the worst time of my life when I don't think I'll smile again.
