“Allah shifts you from condition to condition, you’re always changing, you don’t stay complacent in one place, because if you do you won’t learn. You don’t know forgiveness until you learn to do the wrong thing, you don’t learn mercy until you see the other side, and you don’t learn empathy until you lose things.”

Practice as much mercy as you can, the kinder you are to Allah's creation, the kinder Allah will be to you.

I am afraid to talk to you more, so you get bored of me, and I am afraid to shut up, so you think my heart no longer cares about you.

Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Khudri: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "The people of Paradise will look at the dwellers of the lofty mansions (i.e. a superior place in Paradise) in the same way as one looks at a brilliant star far away in the East or in the West on the horizon; all that is because of their superiority over one another (in rewards).” On that the people said, “O Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him)! Are these lofty mansions for the prophets which nobody else can reach? The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied,” No! “By Allah in whose Hands my life is, these are for the men who believed in Allah and also believed in the Apostles.” Sahih al-Bukhari 3256
