I want to state something very clear. no matter what they reveal about kaveh in any leak or anything if he turns out to be “officially” paler. the likely hood of me changing fc to reflect that is like a zero.

not saying people in the south asian can not be pale nor if they are, they aren’t vaild, nor that they can’t represent their own culture. culture is far more complex then just looks and if we do things like genetics to say that is the only way people belong somewhere that is just a fucking problem buuut portraying it as if everyone would be as pale as they are in the game ?? Is just straight up wrong and stupid.

I mean even if everyone has paler complexions the idea that everyone in tevyat would be still be as pale as they are is just so dumb??? have they never been exposed to the sun before in their life???   fuck the way even I as a white person could by just being in the sun and getting a tan could probably get close to the darkest shade they have is just what??

i mean i am not surprised sadly in a way and I could rant about this for hours but I will not. I am sure I am just preaching to the choir about my annoyance about this.

 soo what I am saying if the “offical” kaveh looks like an blonde women who is into herbal remedies and is a bit to into swedish culture and being in touch with nature that is makes u a bit hmmmm. … no u didn’t see that. .. and if you do don’t expect me to ever follow that.

while I am full aware of sumeru culture being pulled from so many cultures in south asia  and while it might not 100% reflect of things look in game. I am when it comes my potrayle of kaveh, the things he has built and his over all architectural style and preferences will be base more heavily based in persian/iranian architecture and plants from in game, but also from the middle eastern region in our world.

not saying that It doesn’t look like other things and cultures has inspired the designs right now, nor if I change it, it is something I feel is wrong with it and needs to be fixed. It is merely moment I don’t know enough and it might change as well with time but having more clear directions in where i pull my the inspiration of the base of my kaveh from makes it far easier for me.

but if the case that i am changing things around, I will update any headcanons I may have done about the topic to reflect my new ideas more.

       “ enough is enough, i can’t take this any longer !! ” kaveh burst into the room, finally giving into the annoyance that had built over so long “ - there is a dire need for some mosaics in this house. ” it physically caused him pain as he looked up and only fond a plain color, the architect did in many ways hold back his own preferences in his work in sumeru. the house he was living in was the one place, he couldn’t stand being as bare as it felt.

       also yes you might be wondering why this blog mentions al-haitham in like 90% of it’s posts.... bruh have you read the voice lines tighnari and collei have for him??? so what i am basically is saying is that i am staying true to the character even in all my posts not just the ic ones <3

i am just thinking about my kaveh who can create little sculptures of anything he really wants out of stone  and i was just thinking about the different way he would use it, like he probably use it when telling kids a story making it as if the story was coming alive, or him using it for work in demontarting what he wanted things to look as and ... him making small versions of al-haitham so he could destroy them
