I like to think Lance would dance ballet of some sort.

Au where Lance used to do ballet as a break from the garrison classes so he could stretch and dance the tension from his bones but after he joined Voltron he stopped dancing. The scar on his back pulled uncomfortably, the arches of his feet pained with use.

Dancing wasn't the same.

But on a planet with robes as light as air and a peace that washed over him like spring rain– Lance danced.

For the first time since he left earth, he danced everything away...

I was heavily inspired by Alphonse Mucha and Cuban tile work while drawing this if it wasn't already obvious, so imagine Lance is actually dancing his heart out under the moon in a private courtyard on some alien planet.

There was a time, not very long ago, when we lived in an enchanted world of elegant palaces and grand parties…

My youngest grandson had begged me not to return to Paris. So, I had a very special gift made for him, to make the separation easier, for both of us.

But… we would never be together in Paris.

A dark shadow had descended down upon us. So many lives were destroyed that night. What had always been was now gone forever.

And my Lancelot…. my beloved grandchild….. I never saw him again. _______________________________________
