Also trying out a radical new technique called "drawing the character multiple times until you're comfortable with their design"

why is that big red stamp on everything you post? i like your stuff but its really distracting 😭😭😭😭😭😭

It's my watermark, and the reason is twofold: to give people a way to link my art back to me in the event it gets reposted, and to discourage people from just taking my work & passing it off as their own.

I know it's distracting, and I don't really love that I have to add it, but every time I try to make the watermark unobtrusive, it ends up getting cropped out or ignored by people reposting my stuff. I've accepted that it's going to happen no matter what I do, but that doesn't mean I have to make life easier for people who jack my shit & post it with no link back to me.

I've been doing a Heartgold nuzlocke, and rather than doing a self-insert like usual, I wanted to make a separate character! Then it spiraled into doing personalized designs for Ethan and her rival, plus all their starters...maybe I'll draw them a little more
