We tried Arwa Food Center for today, we were 6 friends and specially went to try out their famous Handi Biryani. We ordered 3 Handi Biryani along with raita, salad and drinks. As expected, it was served pipping hot and it had all the masalaydaar ingredients that make your taste buds go nuts. A must try for any avid Biryani lover espcially someone who really wants to explore the new horizons of Biryani....Sitting arrangements were limited and the ambience wasn't amazing...But it wasn't giving any feeling of being congested or suffocation. With 14th street Pizza launching the Newest and the bestest in town with Pizza Xtreme... we were too sceptical to try it... not because it was new but because of the thick pan pizza they were offering.... The only thing that kept us calling back to the idea was the cheeesy and the secret sauce part... Finally, after so much time we were adamant that we have to try it now and there and then we dialed the hunger emergency number (021) 111 36 36 36 and ordered our Pizza Xtremes! Luckily we possessed Bogo vouchers so we got one pizza Xtreme free on buying the other. Well when the Pizza arrived it was oven hot and so aromatic that it was difficult to hide all the excitement for the pizza... we dived into that cheesy goodness without any stops! The pizza was not precut and was accompanied with a cute custom made pizza cutter (picture attached... everyone wanted to hold on to it for later)... as well as the directions to cut it printed on the inside of the box. Well the Xtreme pizza is available in just one flavor which is chicken tikka( the most tried flavours of all) the pizza was yummilicious with layers of dough hiding the aromatic mayo based sauce and the cheese combo... which filled your mouth with extreme goodness! The topping was extravagant and cheesiliciously generous. In the end it was a unanimous decision that it was no doubt one of the best additions in the menu! We have the pizza burger yet to be tried! If you are from the crowd that really want to fill themselves up with the typical desi foods like Nihari and want to know the most authenticly amazing Nihari Place in Town, specially on the other side of the town then limit your options to Legendary Javed Nihari. The Nihari there is amazingly aromatic, has taste which can't be forgotten and served with the Typical Garam Garam Tandoori Nan hot out of the ovens... The Servers roam around with the freshest and the hottest Nan you can have. The Nihari offered is Plain Nihari, Nali Nihari, Maghaz Nihari and a Special Nihari (which is a combo of both Nalli and Maghaz) This place is always crowded with Nihari Lovers and you seldom get the seats directly, people have reported to have waited for more than hour to just get seated to have Nihari! We went in with a large group of adults with about 15 people and had a good fill but still our total bill came out to be just Rs. 2220. So this is something not only amazing but the cheapest option available too... The parking is on the street and many a times you have to park too far away from the location... One the the coolest burger places in town is no doubt The Sauce.... The best part about them is they are fresh, juicy and succulent... having these all qualities they are quite economical and not much of a burden on your pockets! We tried jackpot beef and jackpot chicken burgers with garlic mayo fries.... The only off thing was the plain burgers which weren't very appealing until you really dive into the goodness itself.... Jackpot beef burger was a juicy well done pan fried pattie with an amazing combo of tasty sauces, caramelised onions, tomatoes and lettuce with a slice of american cheddar cheese. Where as the chicken jackpot burger was crispy fried chicken pattie with all the above details! The burgers were juicy and awesomely perfect in taste! Fries were the real potatoes dozed with garlic mayo sauce and were good enough to be finished by a single hand! We availed Bogo vouchers which made a burger free on one burger. If you want to have some yummilicious steaks at an amazing cost do opt for @taverngrill We ordered Chef Special Beef steaks and Chef special Chicken Steaks! Both were not part of the menu and were on request! We asked for some tweaks and they were well listened too... The chicken steaks were great, we asked for an spicy and a saucier option which was as amazing as it was thought off as well as it was served in a sizzler plate, sizzling to the succulent cheesilicious perfection. The beef steak was asked medium done but was served rare medium which did make it a struggle to fight with the knife on table but amazingly it had no stench of beef. The drinks were lime mojito and pomegranate sparkler with cranberry syrup. Both were served chilled and were delicious to the core.
