So. Today in class we assigned Macbeth roles to students to read. When I asked the class who wants to be Lady Macbeth, a young man raised his hand. I kind of stared at him like “Lady Macbeth,” and he nodded like “I know what I’m about ma’am.” So then the student who ended up as Macbeth raised his hand and said “HE’S THE ONE, HE’S MY WIFE!” So I said “yeah sure why not,” and the entire class period they were blowing kisses to each other and winking at each other, and every now and then Macbeth would say “I’m the luckiest man on Earth” and Lady Macbeth would put a hand to his chest, and be like “BABE!”.

I just stared at them, knowing that they CLEARLY have never read ‘Macbeth’ before, so… all this lovey dovey… I don’t know if I have the heart to tell them the truth.

•Very grabby in his sleep. Tugging on your shirt, rolling over to hold you, keeping his face buried in your neck, just s o f t.

•If he is with a partner who has periods, he has a period tracker on his phone so he can know when to buy you comfort foods and have the heating pad set up etc.

•SOFT. DOM. DEKU. did you drink water, did you eat, how did you sleep, what do you need. SO attentive, just, gentle authority.

•nose kisses. Send tweet.

•Will go feral if you wear his clothes. Loves it when you use his shampoo and smell like him. Loves walking around with hickies you gave him. Gentle territorial shit. It slaps.

•Baby boy has the fattest praise kink known to man I will die on this hill.

•Keeps his hand in your back pocket when y'all are walking around, forehead kisses, loves it when you hold his pinky. Absent-minded contact. Brrrrrr.

•Stops at the puppy store in the mall every single time without fail and BEGS for one. "We don't need a dog." "We need THIS dog." "We can barely keep ourselves alive." "But he- he needs a home 🥺." .... "We need a dog."

•Keeps a note page in his notepad with a list of your specific orders at restaurants.

•If y'all are sleeping separately he keeps his phone volume up in case you call.

I likes the bits of Sola’s expressions we got from the dragon age 4 preview, and I decided I wanted to see him cry hahaha. Sorry for the extra angsty  start of the year post, it hurst so good tho : P

❄ Genre: fluff

❄ Summary: Aizawa was never big on Christmas. He doesn’t need parties or presents or traditions or even decorations. But, with you by his side, he loves making cookies, even when it results with flour all over the kitchen. He loves when you press kisses against his cheek, even when it results with a sticky mess from the half-finished candy cane in your hand. Aizawa still isn’t big on Christmas but, since you, it’s been a little sweeter. And all he needs is you under the tree.

Aizawa never celebrated holidays before you. He didn't see the point. Parties with crowds? He hates them. Presents? A waste of money and time. Traditions? He never had them. Decorations? There's no point if it's just him.

But, then, he met you. And he still hates holiday parties but you make it bearable. And he loves to see you smile and laugh as you socialize with his coworkers. And he still thinks presents are a waste of time and money but he can't deny he loves the look on your face when he gets you the perfect gift.

Even though it makes a mess, with flour all over his kitchen, he loves baking holiday cookies with you. And he'd love to be annoyed at the mess you made but, when he sees you with flour on your cheek and brand new candy cane in your mouth, he can't help but think of how adorable you look. And any remaining annoyance melts away when you press a kiss to his cheek, slightly sticky from the candy cane.

These became even more meaningful to Aizawa when he suddenly became the sole guardian of his niece, Eri. It was an adjustment but you were there by his side to help. You made sure she was included at the holiday parties. You made sure she had presents from both you and him, even made sure they were an equal mix of things she'd need and things she'd enjoy.

The kitchen still gets covered in flour but, now, he gets to see you and Eri with flour on your faces, too, because you made sure to make her your helper. And, now, there are candy cane kisses for two.

Aizawa was never big on Christmas. He never needed parties, presents, or traditions. And that's still true as he watches you color with Eri under the tree. He doesn't need things or traditions. But, if it's with the ones he loves, he certainly doesn't mind them.

And, as you turn your head to look at him and give him the biggest smile that's full off love, he thinks "all I need is you under the tree."

Why is he a brat? What are his crimes?

crimes are as follows:

•CANNOT keep his waterdish clean. one time i was putting him back in after JUST finishing cleaning and he made eye contact with me and knocked bedding from himself off into it

•general bastardry ie hissing at me

•bad at letting mom take pictures of him

•once had his enclosure left open for 24hr (by accident) and was Too Lazy to leave and instead just slept all day

•also: criminally cute

Sometimes I think about what must have happened to Solas between the end of Inquisition and the end of Trespasser for him to go from trying to keep a ‘polite’ distance between himself and Lavellan, to just accepting that he was in love in with her and there was no point in pretending otherwise.

Like how badly do you think he missed her to have to give up the pretence of denial?

Seeing a few great posts about Tevinter that have me so excited and I don't want to hijack any so... here's a small one of my own, rambling as I do.

Tevinter. An entire nation of magic and mages who are renowned gluttons for power. Built upon the bones of the Elvhen Empire and possibly even pieces of Arlathan itself! In another post I voiced suspicion that certain cities (especially Minrathous) could be situated upon magical hotspots and I'm standing by that.

Going off events of Tevinter Nights, it seems like even the Veil has its own unique flavour in Tevinter.

"Magic keeps many of Minrathous' ancient structures standing."

Given its violent history, magical methods, and the intent of the people who live in this magical empire, I can imagine that the place has attracted the attention of all manner of creatures beyond the Veil, including the entities that might have existed before the Neromenians lay down roots.

We know something stirs beneath Minrathous. What will happen when the Veil falls? Instead of falling like Arlathan allegedly did, maybe Tevinter is like a supervolcano just waiting to explode? What will come flooding out of it when it does?

If trapped somewhere in the physical world, could one of these two beings (or both) be somewhere within Tevinter?

It makes me wonder what reason the elves had for building their greatest city in this part of the world. Was it another sacred site like the one Skyhold was built upon? Mythal nested her great temple within the Arbor Wilds, but why so far removed from Arlathan? I have a feeling that, like the Vir Dirthara, Arlathan existed between planes and could even have been accessed from anywhere. If Arlathan is indeed the Black City or just a piece of it, then perhaps in its height it could have been spotted anywhere in Thedas without the need to dream.

Were these sites wellsprings of some kind? The resting places of Titans? Something else?👀

I have so many questions I could probably max out Solas' approval ten times over.
