I don't think people truly understand the gravity of Rafah being bombed.
There is nowhere left to go.
The lowest cost is $5,000 USD to flee to Egypt. There has been people paying over $10,000 USD.
That is the only option
Pay or die.
Rafah was the only place in Palestine promised not to be bombed. That promise is broken.
1.5 million people have nowhere to go!
Reminder, if possible, please donate to the PCRF, ANERA, Islamic Relief, Palestine Red Crescent Society, Medical Aid for Palestinians, Defense for Children International - Palestine, Doctors Without Borders, and all other trusted organizations.

If you are unable to afford donating, this link allows you to click a button every 24 hours in order help donate to Palestine.
American mutuals, I seriously urge you to tell Congress and Biden to stand with Palestine, and do not stop sending this message. You can also donate here.
This is not a war; what Israel is doing to Palestine is genocide. Do not sit idly by and do not stay quiet. Now more than ever is the most important time to not look away.

this is why i cant take people claiming barbie as a feminist masterpiece seriously. how are you going to talk about the double standards women face while also spreading the misogynistic lies of an abusive man's smear campaign?? like are they fucking stupid? using a feminist (albeit a very surface level) position and work to be misogynistic and further ruin a woman's life/career is definitely not what i expected to see but i guess i cant be that surprised considering how shallow the reactions to the movie have been
btw no one talks about those things bc:
a.) her ex wife said multiple times that the cops had a misogynistic and biphobic bias against them and that Amber was not abusive in the slightest
b.) reactionary violence is not abuse and is something that many victims of domestic violence do as a result of repeated trauma and other factors
c.) the forensic analyist in the trial literally confirmed that her photos were not manipulated while much of his evidence was rejected for manipulation, the "expert" testifying for him that Amber had personalities disorders was a friend of his and diagnosed her before meeting her, and many of his witnesses were on his payroll.

if you have a couple of bucks to spare, consider throwing them to The Indian Residential School Survivor Society (IRSSS). they provide counseling and other forms of support to first nations people who are residential school survivors. this is a list of other charities that support first nations people, this list is a mix of charities and ways to learn more about first nation activism and history, and this is a link to a free online college course called Indigenous Canada

The infographic above (courtesy of Yalla! Let's Talk) was posted only six days ago and now Palestine is trending once again following Israel's new airstrike against the people of Gaza in the middle of the night.
Besides being a violation of the "ceasefire", which Palestinians themselves said would not resolve the core issue, this new wave of bombings is once again a reminder that a free Palestinian state cannot be achieved through lukewarm, inconsistent coverage and activism.
Here is a few resources, feel free to add more:
Build Palestine has provided a list of charitable organizations you can donate to, many of them are providing critical medical/ humanitarian aid to Gaza in particular.
The BDS Movement's Action Alerts, resource articles and images, and list of what to boycott and how to do it effectively.
A playlist of Abby Martin's Empire Files reports from Palestine
Working Class History's podcast on the history of Zionism, Settler Colonialism in Palestine, and Anti-Zionist Activism: Part 1 & Part 2
Article on how mainstream media and social media companies have targeted or marginalized support for the Palestinian cause

(9 June 2021) You may have heard that the Keystone XL pipeline project, which environmentalist and First Nations protestors have been fighting for years, has been cancelled by developer TC Energy after Biden revoked its permit (in January 2021).
Despite this victory, First Nations/Sioux water protecters High Elk and Jasilyn Charger are still facing criminal charges for protesting the construction of this pipeline. High Elk faces 23 years and Jasilyn faces a year of jail time after their arrest in January 2021.
You can sign a petition to drop the charges against them (dated Jan 2021, updated March 25 2021) here (and watch this space for updates and requests for protesters to attend court dates). There is also a GoFundMe campaign to support Roots Camp (which was set up on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation in protest of the Keystone XL Pipeline, and will remain as the pipes are removed) and to help fight the charges against High Elk and Jasilyn (updated 23 January 2021). See here for more ways to help (including joining the camp and donating supplies).
This victory is not a permanent one. The Keystone pipeline has been cancelled and reinstated in the past.
“We know they'll be back, the oil companies," said Harold Frazier, the chairman of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe in northern South Dakota. "We could have another president just four years from now. So it's kind of a temporary relief.”
As long as the U.S. president has the authority to issue cross-border permits for piplines (such as the permit that Trump issued for Keystone XL), any president (including Biden) could reinstate approval for it without warning. The pipeline was revoked solely on presidential authority and not for any reason that references First Nations sovereignty or the project's illegality. That's why there is currently (as of 2 June 2021) a lawsuit challenging the president's authority to do this.
You can read more about the history of this pipline here.
The Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) is not being shut down, having been allowed by the Biden administration to continue running (article dated 21 May 2021).
"It's not about canceling one extractive project or another. It's about ignoring our sovereignty," said Angeline Cheek, an Indigenous justice organizer for the American Civil Liberties Union of Montana, who is from the Fort Peck Reservation.
"Keystone was canceled, but DAPL still exists. What is the logic in that?" Cheek said.
This overturns a decision last year (July 2020) to halt the running of the pipeline pending an environmental review. You can read updates on the Standing Rock Sioux litigation against the pipeline here.
Given the ever-evolving nature of the situation involving these pipelines, it seems irresponsible to share news about Keystone XL's cancellation without history, action items, or things to keep an eye on.
As of 10 June 2021, I’m not able to find any updates more recent than 27 March (including about High Elk's court date on 28 April). Please do add on here if you can dig anything up.

My email to [email protected] if you want to copy paste. They’re probably not gonna read it but the point is to keep the momentum going and keep the pressure on
I’m writing you to ask for the immediate release of Muna and Mohammed El-Kurd, Zuhair Al Rajibi and Iyah Abu Dneina, as well as every Palestinian political prisoners who are currently detained under dubious pretenses, their only crime being that they’re Palestinian.
Israel has been continuously breaking international laws and has proven countless times that it does not respect basic human rights. The unreasonable arrestation of people trying to simply document the horrors of the occupation and apartheid inflicted by the Israeli government and police is one more proof of this. The world is watching and we will not remain silent.

itch.io is doing another massive bundle, this time for palestinian aid and you can and you can buy 1020 items for just 5 dollars HERE
Tumblr media
[quoted from the page]
This is a grassroots bundle by indie devs who want to help Palestinians.
All profit from this bundle will be donated to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency. The UNRWA has provided food assistance for over one million Palestinians, and continues to do so in the territories with heavy destruction. They also provide emergency mental and physical health protection for those in the region. https://www.unrwa.org/gaza-emergency
Indie games are unique in that they can tell stories not seen in AAA or other games. We pour our life experiences into our games and share a piece of ourselves with the world. Palestinian game developers are no different in this aspect, but have the added challenges of limited access to basic services, like clean water, electricity, medical care, and food security. They live under Israeli authority that discriminates and subjugates Palestinians to the point of persecution and apartheid, simply for being Palestinian. Furthermore, they develop games without all the resources that come with being in a western hub for game development.
Palestinian game developer Rasheed Abueideh did exactly that when he made Liyla and the Shadows of War, which tells a story of a little girl who lives in Gaza during the 2014 war, in which 30% of civilian casualties were children. Liyla and the Shadows of War was showcased at IndieCade and A MAZE and earned numerous award nominations, including a win in Excellence in Storytelling at the International Mobile Gaming Awards Middle East/North Africa.
This bundle is pay-what-you-want (above $5 U.S. dollars) for Liyla and the Shadows of War, and you will receive hundreds of additional games, assets, and soundtracks graciously donated by game developers and media creators around the world for free. The bundle will run through Friday, June 11th. Together, we can raise funds for UNRWA for food and medical assistance for Palestinians AND highlight a game developer who is directly affected by the cause we are rallying behind.
here’s the link again: https://itch.io/b/902/indie-bundle-for-palestinian-aid
you can get games like: pikuniku, minit, longstory, a good snowman is hard to build, gnog, smile for me, cook serve delicious 2, and way more, along with  countless ttrpgs, soundtracks, and programing resources. check it out if you have the time

israel has been bombing residential towers, refugee camps, media offices and now there are reports that it plans to bomb two UN run schools in palestine. reminder that many ppl who have been rendered homeless by these bombings have found shelter in these schools. palestine's hospitals are overflowing, their top doctors are being killed in these bombings, and the pandemic is still raging while israel is blocking humanitarian aid as well. these are war crimes. this is a genocide.
