i said this and realized it's possible that sanemi just lives his life with regret after so maybe killing him off at 25 makes sense.

also ... because i think kny is angsty enough , i think it'd be good to say that YES, sanemi gets his mark, yes , technically that means he should die by the time he's 25 : but i'd like to believe that once muzan is dead, and all the demons , the whole time limit goes away too.

im also thinkin about how, the other day i had said that sanemi doesn't really have friends or anybody close to him ; save for obanai and yk that's more of a work friendship. anywho ! it makes me think that he REALLY doesn't talk to the other hashira much , doesn't go out of his way to conversate or anything like that. sanemi is a loner by all accounts . calling back to another post i made ; PUSHING PEOPLE AWAY IS EASIER THAN MOURNING ANOTHER .
