Ah.. It's more of I follow the Dark Link tag, and don't read that much fanfics often whatsoever, so sometimes get posts of yours that aren't directly mentioning him and it just confuses me seeing Dark tagged!

I can maybe just filter tags around my preferences instead I kind of just learned you can do that.. Sorry about that!

The only reason I have Dark/Shadow Link tagged is because he too is an important part of the story and is one of the main characters as well, he just doesn't appear in every single chapter yet. It's actually a story more centered toward Dark Link (a mirror version of BoTW Link in this version), which is also why he's tagged.

Ya'll I know this has probably already been done before, but imagine a Legend of Zelda x Star Wars crossover.

Listen I am an avid Star Wars fan but like. Up to the Disney movies. Except for The Mandalorian (I'm obsessed with Mandalorians), The Book of Boba Fett, Ahsoka, Andor, the good/decent ones they've got left. But like just imagine.

It would take place pre-Clone Wars just to set the tone. Princess Zelda Haelia. Jedi Knight Link Cahira. They're both from the planet Hyrule, and were childhood friends/maybe something more but she was raised to be a senator/princess and Link was taken away for Jedi training. They're the same age.

Hell, the galaxy is large enough and diverse enough for races like Goron, Zora, Rito, and even Deku Scrubs to make sense. But IMAGINE.

IMAGINE JEDI KNIGHT LINK. He's assigned to guard Princess Zelda on her travels from Hyrule to Coruscant to see about getting reinforcements to defend them from the onslaught from Gerudo, a desert planet ran by a spice runner king by the name of Ganondorf, an ex-Sith without a moral compass. They haven't seen one another in years, possibly a decade. They've both definitely changed. Zelda's personal attendants follow her.

Alternatively, my husband insists that Link, Zelda, and all the rest of Hyrule would be a part of or equivalent to the Empire, whereas Ganondorf (a man from the desert with a much smaller army, fighting against the larger force and ultimately succeeding) would be part of the Rebels.

I like my idea better lol.

Hi! I'm sorry if this comes off rude I just wanted to suggest that when you do posts about your writing wips and such to maybe not tag characters and such?

Although the fic you may be writing involves them, they aren't any relevance to the post in the moment and especially if not even directly relevant... I think it's just preferred to not tag things like characters on posts unrelated.

Hi anon! No it doesn't at all. <3 I'm gonna answer to the best of my ability.

When posting about my writing WIPs, for example if I post about Fate Unbound but don't actually have any content pertaining to the next chapter in the post, I try to use as many tags related to the story as possible.

Like if I write a post saying something about "Hey wish I could update Fate Unbound," I not only tag #legend of zelda but I also add #botw link because he's in the story and is one of the main characters. If I only tagged #legend of zelda I'd probably get less traffic on my page. I want as many people as possible to see my story lol!

Plus personally I feel like the characters (Link, for example) are still relevant to the post in the moment on some level because the entire story is about him and inspired by him. To me, if I didn't tag him it would be like posting a sketch of the Master Sword and only tagging #legend of zelda just because Link isn't in the picture, even though he is directly related to the Master Sword (if that makes sense).

It's just a personal preference for me! ^^ If you have a particular instance in mind where maybe I tagged a completely different character relating to a completely different story, feel free to send me another ask! :3

CHAT I JUST HEARD THE MOST DEVESTATING OCARINA OF TIME THEORY?????

so we all know the downfall timeline where the hero fails to defeat Ganon in ocarina of time. And I had just assumed it was what happened if you lost the final battle against Ganon as adult Link. But apparently there's a theory that in the downfall timeline, Link never got sealed for 7 years and so he failed because it was child Link vs Ganon. And I'm??? That devestating???? The particular place I saw it was in a comment from BlueBerry200071 in this YouTube short

and they mention that if Link was a child and died in the downfall timeline then maybe Rauru (sage of light old man not totk goat man) used the ocarina of time to go back and seal Link away for those 7 years, creating another timeline. Which is also very interesting because I'd always assumed Fi did that, but Rauru being the one to seal Link away makes SO MUCH SENSE and I'm CRYING
