Twitch Character Bio
Because of the garbage fire that is Riot’s handling of the canon, I’ll be trying to write Zac and Twitch’s lore and story on my own. Not sure if my writing will be good, but I’ll try to give them what they’re owed. Here's my version of Twitch's character bio For more stories, take a look at this page: https://zephyr-rat.tumblr.com/LoLGreenGiant
--------------------------------------------------------------- As one of the few sentient creatures of the sumps, Twitch views himself as the grand king of the sewers, positing himself against the surface dwelling city above. However, this grand king is in need of subjects, but everyone around him seems ready to exterminate him. In order to get some loyalty, he would have to make some with his custom made "sentience potions"! Scavenging the lowest levels of Zaun for ingredients, he will do anything to gain the respect he deserves.
No one knows exactly where Twitch came from. There are stories of an experimented lab rat escaping his prison by jumping out the windows into the deep Piltover-Zaun chasm. Others believe that he was simply a product of the chem-baron's insidious pollution. All Twitch could remember was that he burst out from a vat of chemicals before running out with the skin corroding his flesh and the muscles expanding beyond his capabilities. From this excruciating transformation, he gained the ability to blend in with his surroundings with his fur, fast skin regeneration, and an extremely high tolerance to toxins.
Once he escaped to the lowest level of Zaun, things weren't much better. Due to lack of resources, Twitch competed with many of his mutated brethren. In an attempt to make friends, he approached a mutated spider for food and support. The encounter quickly turned violent as it dug it's noxious fangs into Twitch's right shoulder while the rat grabbed shards of scrapped rusted metal and stab it directly in the head.
In sheer desperation to mend the broken shoulder, Twitch fastened himself a metal cask from loose bolts and the scrap metal of a pipe. Once the bleeding stopped, Twitch could only take a breath next to his now dead assaulter and her eggs, a good source of food.
That encounter taught him two important lessons. Firstly, that it's kill or be killed in the lowest level of the sumps. Every monster down here would easily exterminate him if it meant that they get to survive another day. Lastly, and more importantly, if you kill the anyone, their stash is yours. Everything that they own will now be his. All of the food, resources, shelter, everything would be his to use and consume for his benefit. The idea soon became an obsession. His grand handmade cast was already proof that any small thing can be repurposed, so what if he had more small things to use at his disposal to not only survive, but thrive.
Twitch soon began his reign, collecting various scrap and looting the many corpses of monsters and sump scrappers that lied in his wake. He had to be smart when killing these strong creatures. The human sump scrappers especially with their tools and levels of steel protection, but they tend to have the most valuable loot. His ingenuity and environmental awareness eventually rewarded him when a sump scrapper fell into one of his homemade traps and limped into a dead end from fear of the sound of his raspy voice in the echoing tunnels. He tried to ready his chemtech crossbow, but it was too late. Twitch was already behind him with a glass cask of poison ready to be dropped on the exposed part of his cracked armor. As the human convulsed on the floor, Twitch took the crossbow as his own and granted him a mercy for giving him such delightful tribute, a shot in the head.
As this reign continued on, the sumps offered him more interesting loot, unrelated to survival. Sometimes, he would find interesting little trinkets. Amulets, jewels, and books with meanings that he could only try to decipher. Curious, he would try to read them, only piecing the words together from the words he overhear the humans say. He couldn't read through it all, but he could read snippets, and from those snippets came an image of a grand king with a grand stash of wealth and the respect and love of many sujects. He was technically a king himself, right? Look at his enormous stash! With all of the food, pet insects, and a collection of things that would make any connoisseur jealous! The sump has thrown everything at him, and he's thriving proudly! There was just one problem.
Where were the sentient subjects?
Where was the loyalty and the love that the king always seemed to find? Insects were one thing, but this always seemed different.
Twitch tried to find possible subjects soon after, but either they would attack back or his paranoia would eventually betray him. Soon enough he would have to tighten the bolts of his rusty bronze cast on his shoulder and be reminded of how the sumps truly work. It always ultimately ended wit a poison arrow from his augmented crossbow.
Yet the rat always believed that there was a way. There has to be! He just can't rely on the creatures that are present, and if he can't rely on them, then he would have to make his own. Surely subjects would be loyal to their creators! Twitch would soon create these "sentience potions", collecting as many ingredients as he can. He would giddily associate each ingredient with what their personality and physical ability would be. Rusted iron for bulky defense. A bat's wing for flight. Some of his own fur for stench. Yet none of that meticulous planning could ever prepare him for the onslaught of failure. One by one as he dipped the many plague rats of Zaun into his poisons, replicating his own painful birth, all of them would soon drop dead from such radical chemical exposure. These sentience potions would eventually be repurposed into poisons for battle; one can't just waste resources in the sumps after all. However, as much as Twitch refused to admit it, each death would take a psychological toll, making him more desperate and erratic to find more special ingredients for this quest. He would persevere onwards in his goal of recreating his sentience, making corpses after corpses after corpses until one day after a raid at an abandoned hexdraulic descender,
The sentience potion became alive. It grew yellow eyes and spoke words in a jagged mouth. It dragged its body out of the cauldron, barely shorter than he was. Twitch could hardly believe it when he saw it try to stand up and eventually barf out the original rat that was supposed to mutate; he finally made his first subject. That being said, he seemed to be faulty; he had an obsession with humans and refused to kill or do violence. Nevertheless, Twitch intends to keep his first creation. After so many years of failed attempts and death, this had to be worth it, but this was the first time Twitch had to maintain a subject of his own.
Would he prove to be the great king he envisioned from those tall tales, or would he prove to be something else entirely?

Using the power of math and models
Tumblr media
If we were to unhunch Twitch and just measure the ratios as so. The first white box is the height hunched and the second is the height unhunched.
Tumblr media
Using ratios, If Twitch's hunched height is 4'9", then his full height is 6'1" max. Which means he would be substantially taller than me (and as such I refuse to accept it) If Twitch's full height is actually 4'9". Then if we do the reverse, Twitch would be 3'8" which checks with this article. So Im willing to see 4'9" as full height.

In the quest to regain back his green mass and his parents from Takeda Industries, Zac (and Twitch) looks into a possible lead in one of the lower sectors of Zaun: a missing person poster related to an unknown job in the sumps. However, on the way, they meet a chem-tech wolf, out for both Twitch's and the perpetrator's blood.

Zac Character Bio
Please note that because of the garbage fire that is Riot's handling of the canon, I'll be trying to write Zac and Twitch's lore and story on my own. Not sure if my writing will be good, but I'll try to give them what they're owed
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Originally born in the lowest levels of the Zaunite sumps as the product of a chemical spill, Zac lived a humble life watching and mimicking the various creatures around him at a young age. Curiously drawn to the emotions of others, he wished for companionship and tried to take on many forms: a whump, a stray cat, a plague rat, anything to get attention in Zaun's biggest dumpster.
One day, a sump scrapper hired by Takeda industries to scavenge for discarded materials in the lower levels eventually got injured while exploring the vast chasm, falling onto Zac. Mysteriously, he realized that when his injured skin was exposed to the mysterious substance, it healed quickly. Learning this, he quickly excavated the substance and brought it over to Takeda laboratories for further research.
Maria and Harold Calso were talented Zaunite alchemists looking to make a mark on the road to progress. They were taught in their classes to always seize chances and capitalize on any oppurtunity, so when Takeda Industries sent a call for alchemists looking to study a peculiar substance that had healing properties, they went for it.
After further investigation, they realized that this substance can do much more than heal. It was a great adhesive for disparate metal parts. It provided a strong foundation and defense when solidified. More importantly, it moved on its own. At first, when confronted with the scientists, Zac shied away from them but through some exposure, stories, and sweet treats, Zac eventually grew comfortable and started to view these scientists as a family. Eventually, he even tried to take a more human like form in secret as the days grew.
However, that didn't change the cruelty of the experiments. The many syringes. The many endurance tests. The many chemical samples. The scientists promised that they just needed a way to replicate his substance for medicine, construction, all of these lofty goals that he had no frame of reference for. All he gets is a promise that he would make a lot of lives better through all of this pain. Eventually he had enough and attacked out of frustration, causing significant damage to the lab. He only stopped when he saw their scared faces, fully seeing the monster through their eyes. He shrinks down, muttering his first words: "sorry". The couple, ridden with guilt, embraced the crying child.
After that day, the couple no longer viewed Zac as their latest project, but a kid with his own thoughts and feelings. They started to lessen the experiments and started to investigate his mental state. They realized that Zac's unique chemical composition allows for multiple forms of mimicry, including emotional. When other people feel sad, he feels sad. When others feel angry, he feels angry.
While the incident represented the cruelty of it all, to their chem baron Saito Takeda, it represented strength, a valuable asset to his empire and a way for him to climb the ranks as one of the lesser chem barons of Zaun and lead the road to progress. He begins to draft plans for the "Zaunite Amorphous Combatant" and commanded more endurance tests. More physical exercises. More emotional suppression chemicals. More experiments to replicate such a weapon.
When Maria and Harold heard of these plans, they fought back claiming that this was supposed to be for the betterment of the community, not for warfare, but it all fell on deaf ears. They provided evidence of Zac's sentience, but all of it was ignored. Takeda eventually ordered them out of this project for getting in the way of "the future". Before they could be escorted out, they hatched a plan to get Zac out of the facility and free him from this exploitation.
On the night of Progress Day, Maria and Harold were able to sneak into the lab with no one inside and extract Zac from his chambers, putting him in a large septic container backpack and running out to the nearest descender. As they escaped, Zac couldn't help but stare at the fireworks and shouts of glee. He wanted to stay and gaze at the spectacle and join the fun with everyone else, but they had no time to watch.
Eventually, they took the descender down back to the deepest depths of the sumps, the lowest and darkest level of Zaun. They freed Zac, returning him to what they thought was his rightful home, but as they tried to leave him, Zac cried. He didn't get to experience the many funny stories they told him of Zaun. He was about to lose the only family he ever had and go back to merely mimicking the scared creatures around him. He begged them to stay with him.
Touched by this act, they look back up at the city above them where the populace celebrated the scientific achievements made since the city's founding. In any other day, they would join them as scientists at the top of their field, eager to pave a path forward. That vision was tainted now, and Zac's pleas provided an escape from that bleak future.
Together, they found a large abandoned hexdraulic Descender in the sumps and made it their home. Maria and Harold now make their living as Sump Scrappers, scavenging discarded materials in the seemingly inhabitable Sumps while Zac tries to stay hidden. However, the sumps couldn't keep Zac for long. Many days, he would gravitate towards the upper, habitable levels of Zaun, wanting to play with the kids in spirit and experience the genuine moments of relief, glee, and joy through others. He loved seeing other people be happy, and would do anything to protect that happiness.
Inspired by the comic books of his father, Zac named himself "The Green Giant" and committed great acts to protect humanity: saving a factory worker from falling to his death, stopping a robbery at a local ChemCurd store, stopping a malfunctioning Descender from crashing down, he would do it all, despite his parent's wishes to stay hidden.
With every act Zac did, attention accrued. Saito Takeda, bitter of losing what could've been his greatest asset, kept tabs on this "Green Giant" and eventually pinpointed the location of his home. He ordered the Wardens to recover "stolen property" in an attempt to regain what he thought was rightfully his. When they came, the family fought hard to maintain what they had, but it wasn't enough.
By the end of it, Zac was splattered on the sump grounds while his parents were kidnapped to work under their previous boss. He only came back together through the scavenging of a crazed mutated plague rat who believes him to be his own creation, his own subject to command. In this weakened state, he can't do it on his own. He'd have to recover the rest of his substance now harvested by some of Takeda's men to ever get back to his original form.
To stop Takeda and save his parents, the heroic Green Giant will try to work with The Plague Rat temporarily, using him for his own needs and keeping his real family hidden. It broke his heart, playing with Twitch's emotions like this, but his parents were in danger. Zaun was in danger. He can't sit idle.
If the Green Giant wouldn't do it, who would?
