loving seokryu coming so naturally to seung hyo because she has always been there, even when no one was. at home, in school, around the neighborhood, with other people, and in his heart, she's everywhere. loud, lovable and caring and loving. it's been 10 years but he doesn't realise that it is still natural to him as ever bc why else would you also try to be there for seokryu when she says she needs you and even when she says she doesn't (which is most of the time) and you come see her even after you say no and care about her even when you dont realise that you still love her the way you did 10 years ago

as much as i want to convince myself that seokryu always had the same feelings as seunghyo, i just don’t think she did. it always felt like, if she had any feelings at all, they never became whole—maybe just as strong, no less, but always growing, yet never fully realized, never seen, never acknowledged. we may see her affection and efforts around seunghyo since they were young as something deeper, but it might not have been the same thing in her eyes. back then, she might have thought she was acting out of obligation or familiarity (ironically, calling him 내 아기). these days, after her return, she’s starting to see him not just as a man, but separate from the image she’s had of him all these years: best friend, my mom’s friend’s son (엄마친구아들), my neighbor. now, whatever feelings she might have had are starting to introduce themselves again, but in a different light.

no because it's not just about him recreating her room for the whole day while his company is flopping, it's about him replicating it down to the little details. not just the stars, but the wallpaper. the covers. the positioning of the furniture.

as an architect, he understands the beauty of structures, and the memories they hold/represent. by transporting her back in time to the days when he might have first fallen for her by making her room as it was 10 years ago, he's communicating with her. just as an artist would find meaning in everything about their muse.

I have a feeling that his abilities as an architect are gonna come in use once again to represent his love for her. he's going to build her something timeless, I'm sure of it.

I can't believe no one caught onto the fact that Hae In in the interview above mentions that he considers it as flirting when someone remembers little details about him and recalls that, by saying "you said this before/you've mentioned this before" because it shows attention to detail—and proceeds to do the exact same thing to So Min in their Elle interview.

He remembers what she likes to put in her food even when So Min asks the interviewers behind if she could give him a hint since it's a hard question. Not only does he remember it correctly, he adds that "she's mentioned it before."
