Hiatus. It’s been a while since I last posted here. The DSLR has already fallen to disuse. Lugging it around has started to become an inconvenience. My iPhone has picked up the job of documenting my photographic journey. It was good for the job (for most parts): it took great-ish photos, was conveniently small, and its data connectivity ensured that anything worth publishing gets uploaded to social media sites. But something was missing. It didn’t give me enough freedom to creatively manipulate my shots before I took them.
Enter the X30, Merlin. Here’s a compact system that allows me to do away with bulky multiple lenses. I just got it a couple of days ago, so I’m still learning the ropes. I’m planning on bringing it with me wherever I go. I want to be back to enjoying photography. Let’s see where this journey takes me.
