Something that has always bothered me.. the idea that Cloud and Zidane are both canonically 173cm.. so roughly 5'7/5'8

Here's the more realistic depiction of Cloud. I could say, yes this person is about 5'8..

Here's a realistic depiction of Zidane... Yes I know he looks short in dissidia but honestly if you look at his model in the original game he has similarly 'short' proportions due to the chibi style.. despite the fact that Kuja and Steiner in the same game don't read visually as that short in that style..

Height by heads chart.. there's many ways to tell how tall a person is.. for example, studying their isolated bone length may give some indication.

My suggestion... Make Zidane like 5'5 in realistic proportions.

In dissidia he honestly looks smaller than this (4'5??) but in my opinion it's too small.. even looking at the Amano art.. it just doesn't look like Zidane anymore at that height.. him having a short stature has kind of become a part of his overall appearance at this point.

His fighting style would translate so well into 'spider monkey' like movements if shown more actively..

Just, make him short. That's all lol 😆

I have a FFXIV blog.

It's... Supposed to be an RP blog, but it's more or less becoming my FFXIV content dump site. The spell is Doomsday.

Not only does it harm the enemy, but it also harms the party. This poor Black Mage often gets tossed around from party to party because, what else do you do when this beginner spellcaster can't even cast Fire, but can cast Doomsday as easily as one can breathe. Most people downright refuse to travel with this poor Black Mage, mainly citing how deadly such an ordeal would be for all other beginner adventurers. More experienced adventurers have even turn their nose up at this Black Mage, for the fact they only know Doomsday is seen as bad for a party's reputation; 'Why do you only know Doomsday, are you planning to commit genocide?'

A new poster is found on the local Adventurers' Guild board. In horrible, nigh unintelligible handwriting, it reads:

Looking for the most ludicrously powerful White Mage who can counteract the effects of Doomsday to join party. Equal share of all loot available.

Below that, in tinier handwriting, still just as hard to read as the other text:

Looking for a tank unit and a DPS unit to join party. Equal share of all loot provided. To enquire, contact [First Name] [Surname] via linkpearl at (XXX) XXX-XXXX for more information.

The wizard in your party only knows one spell. It’s effective, but even the assassin feels bad about it.
