I normally try to keep things cheery on my blog but I'm going to be a little more serious today

I'm going to quit posting for a while. I'll finish the few art requests I got and I'm taking a break for a bit. Art doesn't feel fun to me anymore. The stuff I make feel bland and art makes me unhappy because I feel like I'm no good. I'm not terrible at art but I know I'm really not that good at it. The stuff I make feels basic and boring. I'm also struggling to make art between work and school.

I hope that once I stop drawing for a while, give myself a break, and a real one this time, that I can find joy in creating again. I'll still say hi to some of my moots here and there but my blog itself is going to be on hold for a while.

I want to find the joy that made me want to art in the first place again. But right now it only brings me stress and I'm miserable every time I try to make something

Odysseus sits at the beach looking out at the ocean with only one goal in mind...make it back alive to his wife and son. Footsteps approach him, they hardly grab his attention

Calypso: Oh Ody!~

Odysseus rolls his eyes

Odysseus: What do you need Calypso?

Calypso smiles with two cloth bundles in her arms

Calypso: I got a surprise for you!

Odysseus: I don't want it

Calypso completely ignores him and approached anyways

Calypso: Anyways, I know you've been upset so I wanted to cheer you up!

Odysseus fights down his anger, Calypso has tried time and time again to "cheer him up"

Odysseus: I said I don't want it! I don't want you of all people to cheer me up *he says coldly*

From the bundles of cloth odysseus hears a sound....almost like a baby crying

Odysseus: Calypso...what did you do?!

Calypso: I made a few little blessings for you, now you can be the father you always wanted to *she smiles, completely ignoring his obvious dislike of her presence*

Father....father!? Odysseus takes the bundles from Calypso and freezes at what he sees...two baby boys.

Odysseus: What...?

Calypso: My love don't you see, these are our sons, Nausinous and Nausithous

Sorry if you answered this before but what brushes do you use? I really like the way you render and I actually use them as references while I practice :3

After an hour and a half, I made art!

I wanted to immortalize my shiny I got when I was a kid, that went on to become one of the greatest moments of my life, and something very dear to my heart. I wanted to find as much info as possible on the shiny so that if anything happened to it, I could recode it back to life. :>

Maybe I'll share the story someday
