Setting aside how anyone feels about the issue, I always find it interesting when people who are conservative say that people from the left can’t define what a woman is. Simply untrue - conservatives just don’t accept the definition. A person on the left simply chooses to believe someone when they say they are a woman. We aren’t consumed with what their reproductive organs look like. We believe people when they tell us that their entire lives they felt they were the other gender. Why? Because why would someone CHOOSE to not be in the right body? For kicks? We combine this with the fact that we also probably took biology, developmental science classes and or have had some exposure at least peripherally to modern medicine and we know that GENDER isn’t a binary paradigm. Some people aren’t born with reproductive organs that match their chromosomes. Not everyone is XX or XY - all documented scientific fact. But there’s also one other key differentiator as to why liberals accept someone’s reference to their own gender, we don’t give a shit. We recognize that life is messy, believe “you do you” and so long as it has zero impact on our existence, you can call yourself whatever you like.

Also funny when people try to single out atheists as having some extreme belief when in reality they almost identical to all other religious zealots (and similarly extreme).

Anyone believing any religion that is NOT atheism: "my religion is right and all other religions are wrong!"

(There are thousands of religions. Let's say we approximate it at 4000 total. So 3,999 of them are wrong and 1 is correct.)

Anyone believing atheism: "ALL religions are wrong, and atheism is right!"

(So all 4000 are wrong equally because atheism is correct and says so.)

Meanwhile agnostics (hi 🙋‍♂️) are sitting here observing how both groups (religious zealots AND militant atheists) are doing the same thing: claiming they know they are right about their beliefs on the existence of deities, and everyone else doesn't know and is therefore wrong.

Agnostics just claim not to know either way. So we see them all as equally full of themselves. 🤷‍♂️

But also, agnostics believe that whether or not deities do or do not existence shouldn't impact how you live your life, especially since we cannot adequately prove claims either way (FOR REAL), but also because you should still choose the moral path because it is moral.

Isn't making "the right choice" only to earn a reward actually not being moral at all?

It's because being told that my dead baby sister is gone gone and rotting in the ground and there's no form of afterlife and i'll never see her again makes me wanna send atheists to the dead black void they're telling me my dead 16-year-old sister and my puppy are in.

Like, you can either completely change the target's gender into a totally new one (Soak) or add another gender on top of their existing genders (Forest's Curse and Trick or Treat)?!

In practice: the goal is to make it DIFFICULT to identify trans people to target with bathroom bans, and to create many FALSE POSITIVES for businesses.

Basically, you might get accused of being trans and kicked out, because of the badge. You say: I wear the badge because trans rights matter.

You follow up with a letter to the business saying you're fucking furious because some nosy dipshit just tried to play fucking genital police with you in the loos. You know lots of trans people (don't name any, if you do) and you wear the pin in support and you're disgusted at them for allowing this.

Blame the business for allowing the behaviour.

Businesses see that their cis customers are getting bothered over a badge and may clarify trans-inclusive policies, so they can kick out the bathroom botherers instead of nice cis allies.

You only need to buy and wear the badge, and you are protecting trans people. You can be genuinely heroic. Even one cis person doing this helps, and everyone you get to join in helps even more.
