She had a way about making him see the sides of himself that he didn't know existed anymore. The parts of him that felt human. That remembered what it was like to be in love. To love someone so fiercely you'd do anything just to see them smile.

She managed to chase those feelings away for a moment , however fleeting it might be depending on the situation. Those moments were able to be longer now , but Bucky still found himself hesitating. Her voice couldn't not bring a smile to his face though , followed by a chuckle. ❝ Still takes my breath away t'hear ya say that doll. ❞

Natasha had never known this version of James, the vulnerable one with more of his memories intact. She'd meant the comment to lighten the mood and perhaps some of that guilt he carried with him. She could hardly think of a friend she had who hadn't tried to kill her at some point or vice versa, and Natasha wasn't one to hold a grudge over the little things. She certainly wasn't holding one against him for what he'd done when he wasn't himself. She knew too well what it was like to have her mind and her will twisted to someone else's purposes.

She could see that it had done the opposite though, and remorse softened her features as she rested a hand gently along the side of his face. Her traitorous heart was beating fast, fearfully hopeful that he remembered what they'd once been to each other. "No, my love. We could never be anything as simple as friends," she murmured in Russian.

Actually , it was really fucking simple , this whole thing not happening in the first place would make things easier. If he was being honest , he didn't think he deserved to be even considered for a trial. He was wrong , but there was a level of self hatred that nobody had really seemed to reach other than Bucky Barnes.

Andy didn't have a lot to lose as far as reputation--or anything else--went, and he hadn’t so much as hesitated at the opportunity to represent James Barnes. His job was basically the only thing he had left, and he lived for a case like this, a challenge. He’d also been dragged through the jury of public opinion and been found wanting himself, so he wouldn't bat an eye at the bad publicity.

It wasn’t his job to care if he got enough sleep, but he did care about his general well-being. He was here to help in whatever ways he could manage. "What can I do to make this process easier for you? If there's something that will settle your mind, we'll start there."

how long have you been roleplaying?

Uhhhhh . . . On tumblr? Since like , 2014. I started in the SPN fandom , and moved around a bit. But technically I started roleplaying when I was in the 3rd grade with my childhood best friend and a spiral notebook. We wrote LOTR and I was on several forums for that and then other fandoms. Also did the chats as well. I've been all over , doing this for a looooooooong time.

what got you interested in roleplaying?

I like writing and being creative but I get bored on my own. This gives me the chance to write and also engage with others.

are there any lesser played canon characters you’d like to see in your community?

OH BOY IS THERE!!!!! Firstly . . . The Howlies. Was just talking with someone about how good they are in TFA and frankly , we needed more of them. Sarah Wilson I would LOVE to see more of. Ayo would be great too , honestly there's so many. I just think more minor characters in general I would love to see more of.

would you consider writing them?

I would consider writing some of them. Others I would be a little nervous about writing. Maybe . . . Now I have some ideas.

what do you enjoy the most about creating ocs?

Just getting to make something new. Every canon character started out as an OC , and some of the nicest people I have met through the rpc has been while writing my oc's. It's so heartwarming to hear people like my oc's.

remember that this is always a slow time for the rpc. as we get deeper into the holiday season, remember that people are finishing classes and taking big tests. they're slammed at work or taking on extra jobs to pay the bills. people are stressed about money or family, figuring out flights or trips, dreading the colder weather, struggling to put food on the table. some people are experiencing more dark outside than light, which might mess their schedule up a bit. some deal with seasonal depression during these months.

when your dash is slower and quieter this time of year, and when less people are liking your posts or sending memes, it doesn't mean the community is dying or we're all headed for the end times. i understand that less interactions or less support might be discouraging, especially when some of us are already dealing with the doom and gloom of darker, colder months and the stress of the holiday season... but please don't turn around and scold people for their inactivity or their lack of enthusiasm. don't get fatalistic about the fate of this community and declare it prematurely dead. this period of time always happens every year. now is not the time for unfair expectations. now is the time for kindness, generosity, understanding, encouragement, and love. now is the time for "take your time with replies," and "talk to me if you need anything. i'm here for you."

QUICK REMINDER THAT MUN =/= THE MUSE!!! I run a lot of blogs , and Bucky is the blog I use for exploring more edgy topics. This does not mean I ( the mun ) condone anything that happens in threads.

A lot of fucked up shit has happened to Bucky in his story , both in the mcu and the comics , and as someone who has survived his share of abuse , I see similarities in myself and Bucky. The headcanons I write about him will be dark on occasion , and I will not be bothered if you don't want to follow for your own mental health. In fact , I appreciate it. ALL TRIGGERING HEADCANONS WILL BE TAGGED FOR EVERYONE'S SAFETY, and especially triggering content will always be under a read more.

I will also be exploring Bucky's time with HYDRA , as it's something that is shied away from and I have been exploring for my own catharses at times. ( we all do this with our muses to a degree. ) ALL THREADS IN THAT TIMELINE WILL BE UNDER A READ MORE. I understand that stuff is incredibly triggering for people and while I do explore those themes , I do want to protect my followers. and any posts involving HYDRA muses will be tagged "cw hydra muse".

Sorry for the long rant. I just felt the need to put some of this stuff out there so nobody is shocked by what might be posted on this blog. Again , no hard feelings if this is not the blog for you , the rest of my blogs I keep much more tame I promise.
