Nikolai is the third child and first son of Shawn and Allie Zamora. He was born a couple of months before the whole family moved from San Myshuno to Brindleton Bay, where he got to have a very idyllic, suburban childhood, made a ton of friends and is soon about to figure out what's next, as he's nearing young adulthood.

When I tell you Nikolai was chaos reincarnated as a toddler, I fucking mean it! This little shit always caused some kind of ruckus, was always making a mess or just yelling at any available adult. He eventually channeled all that energy into being a science loving Bay Scout with very decent grades and chores mostly finished before mom having to remind him.

𝘗𝘌𝘙𝘚𝘖𝘕𝘈𝘓𝘐𝘛𝘠 𝘈𝘕𝘋 𝘊𝘏𝘈𝘙𝘈𝘊𝘛𝘌𝘙𝘐𝘚𝘛𝘐𝘊𝘚: Nikolai is a very sweet kid, despite his early "fuck the system" attitude. He's autonomously shown several times, that he's the kinda person to go over to the quiet kid and invite them to play; always making sure no one feels left out (love him).

Another special mention is also that Nikki's a big softie when it comes to animals. He grew up alongside the family dog, Luna, and now also has his own cat, Doodle; a stray he found while doing scout business. He took the poor, stinky baby with him home, and somehow convinced Allie that bringing a dirty stray cat into the house was an excellent idea.

𝘙𝘌𝘓𝘈𝘛𝘐𝘖𝘕𝘚𝘏𝘐𝘗𝘚: Nikolai is such an accidental social butterfly. Managing bigger friend groups in this game can be pretty exhausting, but the boy's got buds, so what am I to do 😅 He meshes well with most sims, which explains the big friend roster - he's just a charming, outgoing little bean. Like the rest of the Zamora kids, he also has a very close relationship with his siblings, plus as him and his cousin Noah were born only a couple months apart, they have a very brotherly bond with each other as well.

When it comes to Nikolai's romantic relationships, I've already touched on it here and here. At the moment Nikolai is dating Lana, his first actual girlfriend, meanwhile ladies seem to swoon over him left and right (I have nothing to do with it, I swear). This boy is raised right though, so though it's giving situationship-king, Nikolai is very respectful towards the girlies and he's never overlapped or double booked.

𝘞𝘖𝘙𝘒 𝘈𝘕𝘋 𝘎𝘖𝘈𝘓𝘚: Nikolai is still currently making his way through high school, he's good at keeping up with his homework and attends afterschool science classes. At this point in time, I think he is (as well as I) unsure about what the future plans are, but I imagine he's gonna hit university one day, and find a path to follow that way.

I'll end off Nikolai's intro post by pointing out that he sorta reminds me of his dad, Shawn; the "founder" of this family and my original sim, which I guess makes me feel a little extra attached to him. The geeky subtle charm seems to have been passed down, and I'm not complaining 😌

Maddie is the second daughter of Allie and Shawn Zamora, born in San Myshuno, grew up in Brindleton Bay and currently living in Del Sol Valley. She was given the name Madeline at birth, but has only ever been known as Maddie.

Genetically Maddie takes after her mother, Allie (round face, small button nose, wide mouth, bigger eyes), while Lennon looks more like their dad, Shawn. I always try not to fight the genetics too much - that's also why nearly all the damn children have blonde, curly hair. Way back in the beginning, Allie came straight from the gallery and into my game, and VERY MUCH had a typical "gallery look", which I have slowly faded out a little bit through the years 🙈 That does mean Maddie's face smells a bit gallery-ish, but eh.. we don't shame previous "face styles" here 😌

𝘗𝘌𝘙𝘚𝘖𝘕𝘈𝘓𝘐𝘛𝘠 𝘈𝘕𝘋 𝘊𝘏𝘈𝘙𝘈𝘊𝘛𝘌𝘙𝘐𝘚𝘛𝘐𝘊𝘚: Maddie is very much her own person. She's always dressed like how a child would draw a character, her hair is short for practicality and while getting her ears pierced was too much (because *ew needles*) she still has a couple of tattoos 😅 She is your typical jokester of the family, I imagine her generally being super sarcastic, and I always catch her and Allie being mischievous to each other (and laughing about it).

𝘙𝘌𝘓𝘈𝘛𝘐𝘖𝘕𝘚𝘏𝘐𝘗𝘚: My experience regarding Maddie and relationships is a bit different. While Lennon often brought friends home from school, Maddie rarely (if ever) did. While Lennon showed interest in boys, Maddie never did. So, after trying to nudge the game a bit in different directions to find out where Maddie fit best, it ended up feeling 100% right the second I considered her being aroace. So that's what she is 😌

While Maddie doesn't strive towards starting her own family, she loves kids and has a very close bond with her siblings. She currently lives with her BFF Felipé, who she met at uni and I very much consider them a platonic couple. Lennon is the firstborn of Shawn and Allie Zamora. She spent her childhood and the beginning of her teens in San Myshuno, which is probably why she ended up moving back later on; you can take the girl outta the big city, but you can't take the-... whatever, you get the point.

Lenny and her younger sister Maddie are only a few years apart (I imagine 1½-2 years), and as a result they ended up being very close-knit from going through life at nearly the same pace. Lennon generally suits the big sister role for all her younger siblings perfectly, and she's always checking in or visiting the rest of the family whenever I'm not actively playing her household ♡

𝘗𝘌𝘙𝘚𝘖𝘕𝘈𝘓𝘐𝘛𝘠 𝘈𝘕𝘋 𝘊𝘏𝘈𝘙𝘈𝘊𝘛𝘌𝘙𝘐𝘚𝘛𝘐𝘊𝘚: Lennon is very sociable; she had a large group of girlfriends in school, some of which she still hangs out with additionally to the new group of friends she's made since moving back to the city. She's the "girliest" of the kids and you'll often be able to spot her by the pink clothing 🩷 She's caring to a fault, she can be a little bit naive at times, and she drops things... a lot.

𝘙𝘌𝘓𝘈𝘛𝘐𝘖𝘕𝘚𝘏𝘐𝘗𝘚: Lennon has at this point been in three different relationships, all of which we'll look at later, cause they each shaped our girl, as relationships has a tendency to do (and the tea is kinda hot) 😇 Currently, Lennon is dating Oliver, who she has been going steady with for just about 3-4 months, but has known (and danced around the pot with) for years now.

𝘞𝘖𝘙𝘒 𝘈𝘕𝘋 𝘎𝘖𝘈𝘓𝘚: Our Lenny has a job in the fashion industry! She currently works as an assistant to Margareth Cordova, which mainly means keeping track of projects, prepping for meetings and taking notes, running errands, assisting on various worktrips... and getting coffee for the office.

I'll be completely honest, I'm still unsure what exactly Cordova does; she's based loosely on Miranda Priestly from The Devil Wears Prada with that sleek and assertive presence, but what her actual job titel is, I'm not certain. She is some kind of high standing figure in fashion, she works with designers and models and she's very respectable within the industry.

Lastly, Lennon's longterm goal in life seems to be starting her own family. She began showing signs of wanting to get married and have kids almost immediately after becoming a young adult, but the opportunity hasn't fully showed up yet. She still enjoys being young, going out with her friends, working on her career and having a good time, but my girl seems ready to settle down 😅

I opened up my Zamora save yesterday for the first time in months, to see if I'd fixed all my mods and things (I had) and oh boyo, I didn't realise how much I missed these two 🥹 So, after what feels like years of this family (that was intended to be my main content, and the reason I started uploading my screenshots here in the first place) falling into the background cause everything about this game feels so overwhelming and in a constant need to be fixed, so I just completely let go of the wheel in the end; have some lovey dovey pictures I didn't plan to take, but fucking peep the way this man is looking at my Lenny, how could I not?!

part two of the cas review for Businesses & Hobbies that no one asked for - this time we're looking at the male, child & infant catalogue 😌

with the usual standards for men's cas, I think the selection this time actually brings some really staple pieces can't say I'm blown away, and I'm not the biggest fan of the color palette for most of the items if I'm being honest, but it's workable

I also think it's worth noting that while the men's catalogue seems bigger than usual, many of the pieces are shared with the feminine tag (which actually works for once) really love the french tucked tee and the two button-ups, they're super nice, I'll definitely get use out of those! (beard and tattoos are cc)

the masculine hairs are... eh 🤷‍♀️ I can see what they were going for and I don't hate it, but I'm also just a simple bitch that loves to put my men in longer hair, so.. they're a little whatever to me, I guess the texture on that last one throws me off a little - it looks crusty

a quick mention of the accessories as well - they're neat! I love a good hipster beanie and the glasses are some of the best we've gotten in the game so far

the kids' clothing for this pack is honestly lovely, but I'm kinda missing some quirk, kook and color - more patterns, always! I love a good striped t-shirt and the frilly dress with peaches is super cute, plus the overalls are kinda giving Robin Banks (hair and shoes are cc)

all in all I like what they've done with cas this time, the clothing looks much more 3D and high definition than the flat textures we've been so used to, and I hope they continue with that they also seem to have gotten better at making the items actually look good on both frames, when they're tagged as such, which normally isn't the case, so I appreciate that! you can find the first part of my random review ✨here✨

a cas review for Businesses & Hobbies that no one asked for, but you're GETTING IT, cause I suddenly felt like doing one 😌

step one when getting a new pack is always heading straight to cas and ohh I really enjoy the items so far, they feel very well made 🥰 I like the style they went with and some of the pieces have really nice swatches - the last fit is a BANGER! (hair, makeup and tattoos are cc)

onto the full body outfits, they don't tickle my pickle just as much, mainly because the swatches are a bit more meh for my liking the loungewear fit is cute though and the black dress feels very versatile, I love that one 😌 (hair, heels, makeup and tattoos are cc)

an outfit that deserves a spot all on its own though, is this fucking piece it's stunning, nuff said

hairs are a bit so-so for me, nothing I couldn't live without, but that's how I usually feel with EA hairs tbh 😅 the braid and undercut combo is pretty neat though

this pains me every time 🥲 I so desperately wish they implemented some way to change hair accessory swatches, cause these scarfs are *chefs kiss*, but chances of me using the cheese yellow or blue swatch is slim to none the possibilities that could've been

lastly, this isn't as bad as some previous hairs we got in other packs, but I still don't understand why the hairlines vary so much it might even be intentional to fit different head shapes idk, but put next to each other, it looks so jarring even with the baby hairs laid, there's still a full 2-3 finger difference
