VALORANT HCS - Beach episode

hello, everyone!! this is my first time posting something like this.. I've been egged on by my friend too much, and I fear I cannot keep my hyperfixation brain to myself. Maybe I'll do this more often if people like it, maybe not, maybe I'll do more just because I love my friend so much (hi I see u :3), just lmk!!

It's gonna be a bit game-prompty.. I hope that's okay! I try my best to be as personality-accurate as possible 💗

BEACH EPISODE TIME!

PRE-BEACH !

Whether it's a day or two before, I believe Neon is insistent on getting a new bathing suit. A message to the group chat calls Astra and Killjoy, and the three go on a brief shopping spree.

I can personally imagine Iso in a rashguard. Clove possibly rocks a two-piece with a relatively flat chest + some swimming shorts, which give them a very androgynous look? Astra definitely has very beautiful swimwear- a very pretty waist-wrap, while Viper probably rocks one of those kimono-esque coverups.. not too sure how to describe it!

But to dress everybody up and tell you what I think everyone would wear to the beach.. It would take some time! I'll leave it up to you. let me know what you think, what would your favorite wear?

BEACH TIME !

Finally, at the beach, the first person to put on sunscreen is Killjoy. A bit of girlfriend-girlfriend fun, she and Raze take a hot second to make sure everything's covered. From before the ride, during, and after, Cypher would pester Killjoy non-stop about sunscreen. How could she forget?

I believe Viper, Astra, Fade and Skye all make sure to apply some sunscreen, while Breach, Jett, Yoru, Gekko and Neon all forget. Jett, Gekko and Breach earn a nasty sunburn as a result. Ouch!

Ooh, the water is cold.. A few try to dip their toes in, slowly coax into the water bit by bit, but Yoru, feeling mischievous, picks up Clove and throws them into the water! Oh shit! This prompts a splashing. If you wanted to take your time and get used to the water's temperature, too bad!

The younger agents are all splashing about, and Pheonix finds a water gun, spraying Jett- trying to sunbathe. Sand is thrown back, and now not only is water being thrown about, but sand too!

🏖️ 🏖️ 🏖️

Back on land, Tejo brought a box of dominoes. I can imagine Waylay, Brimstone, Cypher and Breach participating. Vyse watches over their shoulders, and maybe even plays a round or two herself.

Viper is relaxing with a nice sunbathing session, while Sage and Reyna are taking up some time in the shade. Sage may not be doing much, but to sit back and see everybody she fights so hard to keep alive enjoy themselves so much.. It makes her happy- an easing feeling.

Chamber takes it upon himself to walk to the bar, snagging himself a nice, cold drink. He's very fancy-going, I struggle trying to picture him doing much! Those who'd participate in sunbathing at least once throughout the adventure would be: Astra, Viper, Sage, Jett, Fade, Reyna.

With the assistance of KAY/O, Harbor brings over surfboards! I low-key think Harbor and Iso would be surfing buddies, considering one of Iso's (canon) hobbies is swimming. Maybe he'd be one to enjoy diverse water sports!

Skye returns from her beach walk and invites Deadlock to try out the surfboards, in hopes to try to loosen her up a bit. Nothing a fun activity can't help. I know Deadlock and Skye are hiking buddies, so I can definitely picture it. Gekko is very excited to try out the surfboard, basically off the walls- and Phoenix slips and falls at every attempt, trying to act cool every time.

I'm not sure if Yoru already knows how to surf, or doesn't! I initially thought that maybe he and Iso were surf buddies, but I felt Harbor and Iso made a little more sense. Yoru is less know-it-all confident and more a lone-wolf, so I'm not sure how much he'd hold up in such a social environment. Either way, he enjoys surfing, whether it's his first time or not.

Jett is low-key very talented for a first-timer surfboarder! All the agents who I feel would be likely to try out the surfboards are: Raze, Neon, Gekko, KJ, Skye, Deadlock, Clove, Breach, Yoru, Phoenix and Iso.

I'm also a firm believer in water races! ‘You stand there, and you stand there, and we'll see who swims to the end faster!’ type beat! Participants wound be Iso, Raze, Jett, and Phoenix. Iso swims in his pastime, so I imagine he wins many, if not all of the rounds! Raze (or Phoenix, whichever you think fits more) wins one time, which is caught on camera! But upon reviewing the footage, Iso purposefully took his time, and let them have a victory! What a fake.

🌊 🌊 🌊

Omen may not be out there and swimming like everybody else, but he's still enjoying himself, seated comfortably beneath the shade and enjoying the idle sounds of laughing and the cool breeze. Reyna is seated beside him, laying back and soaking in the beach vibes. Describing her to my friend, I said she's a ‘diva who dgaf’ sjdhahha

Sova and Cypher take a walk down the beach, conversing about anything, while Fade is accompanying them in silence, enjoying the view. Sage and Viper go to buy themselves some cold drinks from the bar, and Chamber decides to buy one for Viper, who begrudgingly accepts. What a nuisance, but who could turn down a free drink?

Back at the water, Breach and Waylay help the kids dig a hole. All together, they bury up Phoenix and Jett in the sand, and draw a mermaid tail right where Jett is buried! The swimmers come around to take a funny selfie!

This sparks a collective agreement to begin building sandcastles! Neon and Clove go off on a mission to collect as many seashells and leaves as possible to decorate the sandcastle. Spotting Fade sitting alone, Neon brings a seashell to her as a souvenir, while Clove gives Reyna one for Lucia back at home! Can't forget the DND narration of the sandcastle, Clove never misses!

Astra and Harbor go on a brief walk, while Brimstone... Wait, where's Brimstone? There's Brimstone! KAY/O and Brimstone bring a bunch of food that was prepared before the trip and calls everyone to come by and eat. Chips, hotdog, soft drinks, you name it!

In the spirit of the beach, Sova buys Omen a drink, and everybody sits about and eats for a little while. Cypher comes by with a box full of popsicles for everyone!

☀️ ☀️ ☀️

As the sun goes down, Raze and Killjoy sit together and watch the sunset, head on shoulder. Most are dry, but Iso and Clove soak a little bit in the shallow water for a moment more.

I think there would be some beach sports! Volleyball, football, maybe.. I think Sova, Vyse, Deadlock, Gekko, Astra and KAY/O would participate in some volley. While Phoenix, Neon, Yoru, and Breach would play football. Maybe Gekko and Tejo would drabble in both!

As a bonus treat at the end of the day, I think there could very possibly be a bonfire with some marshmallows. Overall, it's a very enjoyable day, and I definitely think the agents would enjoy themselves, whether they prefer to be more alone, or by the group. Good vibes, good memories.
