Anyone else kinda…LIKE that Fran Bow is so niche?

Don’t get me wrong, I very often wish more people knew about this game. I wish more YouTubers played it, or more fan content or merch was made. I want more people to fall in love with this game like I have. BUT, I strongly believe the nichness of Fran Bow is a big part of why it’s so wonderful & unique.

I’ve been in the Fran Bow fandom for over a decade now and the good side of this fandom drastically outshines the bad side (in my personal experience anyway).

Because so few people know about it, there’s way less opportunity for it to be ruined with drama or controversy or excessive NSFW stuff. It feels special, close and safe. almost everyone in this fandom are decent people who genuinely love this game and that’s BECAUSE there’s so few of us.

This game has always been a safe place for me. It’s always felt like my own special world I could lose myself in. I know what to expect. I know what I’m showing up to. And I hope this fandom stays that way for a long time
