Funds go towards helping a recently struggling writer, his partner, 3 cats, and defending them in court from a corrupt billionaire/company (Riaz Moola/Longdue) who sabotage indie game studios for personal profit.

The Argo Tuulik fundraiser has now surpassed 69%! 🚬

As per Argo's twitter, funds will be spent as follows:

"Breakdown of expenses:

£80,000 estimated minimum legal costs to defend Argo and Dora in High Court throughout 2024/2025

£20,000 to cover expenses from the past two months, including accrued legal fees, overdue bills and debts, towing, Transit engine rebuild, rent

How the money will be spent:

Rent, utilities and food until April 2025 when the injunction runs out and we can go back to work

Critical expenses such as medical and veterinary care

Legal fees paid directly to our lawyers

Any funds raised (or left) over the eventual costs will go towards building a new legal claim to restore ownership of the Elysium IP to its original creative worldbuilders, who never signed away rights to the characters and narratives predating the game studio and even its predecessor, the small cultural movement with a seagull on our black flag."

To add some context to this; Argo started a new game studio (Summer Eternal) with fellow creator Dora Klindžić. 'Summer Eternal' was announced to be one of the spiritual successors to Disco Elysium.

Argo and Dora were sued late last year by the company 'GoGrammar' on behalf of 'Longdue' and Forbes 30-under-30 Riaz Moola, to prevent them from working at the new studio. This was done in retaliation by Moola for not giving him a part of Summer Eternal, as well as to disrupt what was seen as a competing studio.

Because of the work Injunction placed on him, he can not work at his studio or in his field (writing) until the injuction runs out in April; leaving him, his partner, and cats homeless and in debt from the legal fees accured and the misfortunes that follow homelessness.

Fundraiser for Argo Tuulik just hit 68% of its goal!

Argo Tuulik was one of the game writers who wrote for such characters as Evrart Claire, Cuno, Jean Vicquemare, Judit Minot, the Hardie Boys, René and Gaston, the cops in Precinct 4, etc, and was last of the original team to be fired after the investors took over ZAUM.

He later went on to make a game studio with fellow DE creator Dora Klindžić called 'Summer Eternal'. Argo and Dora were sued late last year by the company 'GoGrammar' on behalf of 'Longdue' and Forbes 30-under-30 Riaz Moola, to prevent them from working at the new studio.

Because of the work Injunction placed on him, he cannot work at his game studio or in his field (writing) until the injuction runs out in April. Due to this and the initial and upcoming legal fees resulting from the case, he, his partner and 3 cats ended up homeless and in debt. Because of this he has started a gofundme.
