I do not wish this on anyone, it's absolutely awful. Unfortunately one of my family members passed away unexpectedly last week. I am not sure if that means i'm going to disappear for awhile, or if i'll be here more because I need the distraction. I can barely form a coherent thought tbh..

I know a few of you have reached out and just sent random discord messages , I promise i'm not ignoring you, I just haven't really been around much.

I've taken my hiatus, that was supposed to be much more temporary --- but my mental health has gotten soooo much better! I miss you guys and I do miss max, but unfortunately it might be a bit longer until I come back.

continuing the sourdough saga, (while I get the motivation to come back here) I just made sourdough pizza & it was one of the best pizzas i've ever had.

SOURDOUGH UPDATE!! yes, yes, I am still not here, BUT I tried a new recipe and my first ever loaf where I added things into it. I made a GF strawberry white chocolate loaf. & it came out SOOO GOOD. If I had no self control i could eat the entire thing in one sitting, that's how good it is.

SOOOO here is another update, (if you're tired of them.... 🤷‍♀️ ) the second loaf came out WAY better, still needs something but it's so much better (GF IS HARD OKAY?) .... I also need to buy a dutch oven bc whatever I was using cracked as it cooled off.. oooops. .

an update on my sourdough journey. I made my first loaf this weekend! it came out great for my first time! I may have cut into it a little too early causing it to be gummier than it should have been, and then I set up another loaf to bake tomorrow.. UNFORTUNATELY I could not do math yesterday and apparently neither could Alexa, so I got stuck baking it at 10 pm tonight , instead of noon tomorrow. (we will cut into it tomorrow morning and see how it came out. Fingers crossed it's as good or better than my first one.)
