My mom bought her 1st house when she's still single. So, around 10 years younger than my age when I got mine (I'm 29 BTW). That's why when I got my first job, she was so eager for me to buy one. At first I was like, "huh, do I need one?" coz I don't really understand why. I am girl and if i get married I will stay where my man lives...So, It took her 6 years to finally convinced me to buy a house. It was never my free will, I just got one to make her stop being so pushy and feel happy. My life then was smooth sailin and it felt like I'll have my happy ever after, so, I fulfilled her wish. Then 2 years ago, a few months after I bought the house. I thought everything was so prepared and that my life goes according to plan. Until, my life was struck by lightning and finally I realized I was alone. I withdraw myself even to my family. What's left was my job, few friends, and a monthly bill for my house. I was like "Damn! I don't need a house. Im alone, anyway." and blaming my mom for being so pushy. But still, I continue paying my monthly house bills and decided to use the situation as a good diversion. It was actually last year when the house is ready for occupancy. I was not ready yet to see the house and live alone then, until recently when I finally realized that my parents were tryin to kick me out of the house to live like an adult. Hehe funny thing to remember but they were right. When I saw the house, that was last week, It was now clear to my mind that my mom was right. The house was never part of my initial life plan but it serves as a guide and a reason for me to move forward and work hard. I maybe alone for now, but atleast I already have something I called my own...soon it'll be a home...and then... :) #happythoughts #phiathoughts #mylittlestory #thankyouLord
