thought you might like to see the new baby turtle the aquarium I volunteer at rescued they’re a diamondback terrapin who was found in the wild with only three legs so they probably wouldn’t make it in the wild but they’re doing just fine at the aquarium their name is ron or ronda depending if they turn out to be a boy or a girl with pigpen as a nickname cause the curator is a big fan of the Grateful Dead and he named all the diamondback terrapins after band members all of this is to say I would die and kill for this turtle looking at them makes me want to cry so hard I throw up

Like yeah no shit, do you have any idea how rare it is to even encounter a shark in the wild? They're not exactly urban animals. I'm pretty damn sure that if sharks were living in big cities like pigeons, just strolling down the streets looking for food scraps, you'd see a lot more news stories about New Yorkers biting them.

In Super Mario Bros. Wonder, the internal model labels refer to the hair-like protrusion at the back of the heads of the Blewbird enemies as an "antenna".

As birds do not usually have antennae, and together with the fact that the beak is fake and is shot from a hidden round mouth, and the shell on its back, it seems to suggest the Blewbird is some sort of unique non-bird creature that merely resembles a bird instead.
