i dont know if you can help here or if you do this kind of thing, but do you think you can help identify my cafe cat douglas? i dont think my pictures are very good unfortunately so i understand if you cant ^_^
ive never seen a cat like him, hes a rescue so i dont know exactly what his deal is. hes very smokey colored with a silver underbelly and the underside of his tail and legs are silver too.
Based on your description ("hes very smokey colored with a silver underbelly and the underside of his tail and legs are silver too") and that ghostringed tail, i think he's probably a black smoke. Smoke is the combination of silver and solid, their hairs have white roots and colored tips. This should be visible when the fur is parted, so you can check:
(The white patch on his chest is not part of the smoke phenotype, it's called a locket: a type of white spotting that's independant of the color.)
