Today was the day. The twins aka you and Isabela’s twins were going to get their gifts, today.

You’re daughter Elena and you’re son Diego were going to get their gifts after five long years.

Isabela was very scared about them not getting their gift but was also calm at the same time since just because they don’t get gifts doesn’t mean they will be an outcast in the family like how Mirabel was.

"Mi vida, it’s going to be alright." You tried to comfort your wife but she just kept rambling.

"What if they don’t like their gifts? What if they don’t get their gifts? I don’t want them to feel left ou-" Isabela kept rambling until a voice of two children cut her off.

"Mamá/Mami!" The voices were revealed to be Elena and Diego.

"Just stay calm, I’m sure everything will be just fine." You whispered and reassured your wife.

Diego went to your side and held your arm while Elena did the same with her Mamá.

"Guys, Mirabel says it’s time." Your cousin-in-law Dolores walked up to you four.

"We’ll be waiting at your doors and watch you two get your gifts!" You encouraged your kids and walked away.

Unfortunately Alma passed away out of old age, so she couldn’t see the new generation of the Madrigals getting their gifts.

Alma in trusted Mirabel the candle and declared her as the new holder of the candle.

You and Isabela got to the doors and Mirabel started talking.

"60 years ago, in our darkest moment. This candle blessed us with a miracle. Though we learned that we were more than just our gifts. Even if we had gifts, we still had it hard. Pressure was put on us but that changed 10 years ago. And now we will not have one but two new generations of the Madrigals getting their gifts."

The people of the Encanto started clapping at Mirabel’s speech and the curtains lifted up revealing two nervous Madrigal twins.

Your wife was holding your hand tightened her grip in nervousness and you rubbed her back in comfort.

The twins held each other’s hand and began walking up to their Tía.

Elena was the first to touch the candle and Mirabel asked her if she would use her gift to help the community and of course, Elena nods.

And now it was Diego’s turn to touch the candle and just like his twin sister, he nods as well to help the Encanto with his gift.

They touched their door knob at the same time wondering what their gifts would be..
