I love this scene. Many fangirls love the pitiful thoughts "Zura is lonely and no matter how much he's afraid of loneliness he's still alone". but I don't think so. He is not alone. Gintoki will never let him.

He's allowed to visit Gin's apartment anytime, to appear to be indoor even when Gin's not home, without being kicked out of the window when he's back. According to the talks with Madao, it seems he visits Gintoki very often when he has spare time.

Of course we couldn't see Gintoki goes find him proactively, bc he's a wanted man. Gin just gives him a place to return, like a save point in game, where you will go back to when enemies drain your health. Zura is said to be a busy man. Gintoki simply has a place be ready for him.

Never talk of letting him lonely, Gintoki can't even bear to see Zura with too much burden. "I will be your general", which is: "not only be together, you have to have some fun too, hand me all what bother you".

I strongly believe that in Kintama Arc, Zura knows the truth all along. He knows which one is his real friend, right from the beginning.

hah, I love this arc, Zura was acting like a heartbreaker, and Gintoki grew his sympathy for Saitou bigger and bigger by day. He's trying to tell Saitou "I know your feelings man you must love Zura very much right now and who would not but wake up! that wig-man is a heartbreaker he can look so soft and caring and adorable and lovable like a cinnamon roll on the outside but don't get in his trap! he knows that's his strength he knows how to use it and will only use it to have you work for him trust me I know! he loves nothing but his patriot business he's using you man! be strong and fight back his cuteness I know you can!!!"

and in the very end none of them can do that LOL

I know Gintama has a lot lot moments and hints between almost ALL the characters, among all kinds of kink you may have: love-hate relationship, funny, rivals, comrades, SM or even love btw unemployed and bottom of the world men is shippable. All you have to do is pick the one that matches your fav

But the reason I ship GinZura, is because with them, and only with them, I can feel the vibe of FAMILY. Truly, I've never felt more HOME anywhere than where Gintoki and Zura be together, especially with Shinpachi and Kagura there too. Just look at this scene

JUST LOOK AT THAT DAMN SCENE! There is no one ever fit in that scene, as well as the Yorozuya family, better than Zura. He is soft. He is sweet. He is silent. He is sacrificing. And most of all, he is CARING. Sorry I'm not tryna femininize Zura, but he really has the caring of a mom

I've read/watched tons of fictional works. And I surely did ship a lot. My couples across fandoms contain ALL the kinds I mentioned, and I love all of it, and Gintama has all of it. But I don't ship any else in Gintama besides GinZura, bc I truly have never ever seen a HOME relationship like this before. And when I see it, it becomes unbeatable to me.

However when everyone from all other Gin x XXX couples say something like this char is Gin's ex, that char is Gin's current boyfriend, that girl is his masochist, that boy is his sadist, that guy is his lover,... I don't feel uncomfortable, because they don't collapse with me

To me, Zura is no lover nor boyfriend to Gintoki. He's just that wife silently sits behind the crowd and looks at his famous husband being shipped with everyone on the stage. And at the end of the day, they're home together. That's all

(Uhmm... if it's not all, then Gintoki maybe even complains how annoying the crowd is, and that he's tired like all other celebrities are. Then Zura will have to comfort him with a family dinner he soon has prepared)

My first impression for Zura, is that the man is a sentimental and emotional person, yet a loving and supportive friend.

He is too precious, even for a friend
