Don’t ask where this AU came from because it’s a whole mess.

Basic premise: Laurence is a nature spirit who is tied to a planet filled with plant life. After years and years of isolation of being the only sentient being on the planet, he grew more reserved and cold, closing off his emotions and leading to the general decay and rot of the planet, leading to a corrupted and aloof state.

He gets picked up by a space-faring crew who have use of a composed being with a silver tongue. Thus, Laurence joins them and gradually re-learns his emotions and how to love, leading to the corruption fading and for both himself and the planet to being filled with life once again.

I really like Hollow Knight! I really like art stuff! I combined them for an alternative to Inktober, for Hollow Knight! Hollowtober! It doesn’t need to be done in the same way that Inktober is usually done, you can do it in any style, just have fun with the prompts! I know there’s a chance that not a lot of people are really gonna be interested in this but I just wanted to have fun!!

Just remember that you should always take breaks from things like Inktober if you feel overwhelmed, you can always skip prompts or even go back to them when you’re in a better mindset!! Anyways, I really hope you all have a wonderful october!!

New OC means an excuse to try out watercolor pens for the first time. I need a lot more practice.

Her name is Farela Legato. A doodle and more info about her under the cut!

Farela is a character for a sci-fi TTRPG campaign I’m in based on the game Endless Space 2. She’s a member of the Umbral Choir—a hivemind with incredible stealth and mind technology that wishes to bring an end to strife in the universe.

Her people were pulled to the Two Galaxies (where the story takes place) by the large amounts of war and strife that are present in them. Upon entering, the hivemind was effectively shattered, leaving her and her people disjointed, fragmented. The Choir elected to remain hidden from the inhabitants of the galaxies, still intent to bring peace from the shadows—playing maestro and pulling strings behind the scenes or, in some cases, full-on mind-controlling or assassinating (though they mostly try to avoid that).

Farela is a spy for the Choir. Her purpose is three-fold—infiltrate the Academy (a hub for influential and powerful figures from all over the Two Galaxies), keep an eye on those who know about the existence of her people, and learn as much about the Two Galaxies as possible. Farela takes her job very seriously and would not do anything to bring unnecessary harm to others or betray her people.

Since she’s mostly amorphous smoke, she hides in the body of a robot that she pilots. She pretends to act as Glitch, a diplomacy robot of Sophon make that very recently gained sentience and wishes to explore and learn everything she can to find a purpose for herself. She blames any lack of knowledge she has on the “glitch” that granted her sentience. While acting as Glitch, she is emphatically nice, self-deprecating, and eager to please others—Farela has long since figured out that acting sweet and naive is the best way to have others underestimate her.

Farela herself is fairly serious. She is capable of being sarcastic and witty, but she much prefers to be blunt and straight-forward (when she’s not assuming a cover, of course). She is easily annoyed but hard to enrage. Her rage is cold and silent and very deadly. She’s still new to feeling things without the rest of the hivemind, so it’s going to take her a while to get used to it and for her own personality to really blossom.

Have a quick edit of a Hollow Knight AU im calling the Radiant Knight AU. Details are pending for most of it, but basically THK and Radiance both collectively said “fuck the Pale King”, teamed up, and broke out. The Radiance is in the backseat but can come out and loan THK some dope powers—however, using the powers too much pays a toll on THK since a vessel of Void isn’t meant to channel that much light.
