lol itās fine u didnāt offend me š«¶ but that is weird. whenever i see smthn that ends with an a in another language like ma, la, ella, etc. I always think of feminine because thatās how a lot of languages are structured. i honestly donāt know why people do that š
PEOPLE WHO DONT SPEAK FRENCH AND WRITE ALASTOR FICS, THIS IS FOR YOU!!!ā¤ļø Hi guys, this is my first blog and itās actually to talk about a small itty bitty detail in fanfics! So as itās known Alastor can speak a bit of French due to his origins in Louisiana, Iāve seen many people write for readers and use the term āCherā which Iām assuming in the way itās used in Louisiana I can be used for both masculine and feminine. Anywho that also caused people to start using āMon Cheriā or āmon cherā for feminine readers for example, which would be wrong since its the masculine term for my dear, so look out for that when youāre writing! The feminine terms would be āma chĆØreā And āma chĆ©rieā this is just a small detail I felt like pointing out, thank you!! You guys are all so good at writing

Iām Cajun and from Louisiana and nobody really uses the masculine or feminine versions of the word ācher.ā Most of the time people use the word ācherā itās slang. Iāve rarely heard people use the masculine of feminine versions because ācherā is like universal. You can call any gender cher. I have heard āchĆ©rieā but like I said itās not that common. Plus a lot of people Iāve met usually only use ācherā as term towards a woman. A lot of people Iāve talked to usually use āBeaux.ā Some people use it as gender-neutral compliment and some use it when talking about a male. It usually means handsome or boyfriend but the meaning can vary depending on how you use it in a sentence. It mightāve been different back when Alastor was alive but knowing he canāt entirely speak Cajun French he would probably just use ācherā and MAYBE āchĆ©rieā when referring to a woman and āBeauxā or some other word to refer to male. But both ābeauxā and ācherā can be gender-neutral when used in the correct context. š«¶

Hazbin Hotel Song Tierlist

Ranking Explanations-
S Tier (my favorite songs)-
Loser Baby: Do I have to explain myself?
Hellās Greatest Dad: Whatās better than watching 2 prideful ass men fighting? Nothing.
A Tier-
Stayed Gone: Love this song so much. Debated on putting it in S tier but Iāve been replaying those songs more than I have this one.
B Tier (Songs I like but Iām picky)-
Respectless: At first I didnāt like it but it kinda grew on me. I donāt like Velvet since sheās kinda dumb but she absolutely ate during this scene.
It Starts With Sorry: Super sweet and I really liked it. Not in my playlist but I wouldnāt mind listening to it.
Hell is Forever: Itās fine. I love rock so this song couldāve gotten into A tier but most of it is pretty mid. Even though I know Adam is supposed to be an asshole he just makes the song annoying. I only really like the last part of the song. Plus most of my other complaints arenāt really about the song, mostly writing of the actual show and Adamās design. Adamās design sucks.
C Tier (Mid songs that I would only sit through when watching the show):
Poison: Donāt get me wrong, I love Angel Dust and his story but I feel like this is such a bad song to convey his feelings through. Itās like itās trying to be a catchy pop song but also trying to convey abuse and deep feelings and it just falls flat. Some of the lyrics just get on my nerves because of how much theyāre repeated. āYeahā doesnāt even feel like a word anymore after this song. Reminds me of Cotton Candy from Helluva Boss. It would be a good song if the words ācotton candyā werenāt 90% of it. But like I say with most music, everybody is subjected to their own music taste and itās cool if you like this and I donāt. I just wouldnāt listen to this unless I was rewatching the show.
Happy Day In Hell- Again, this song is fine. Thereās a few seconds where I kinda vibe but most of it where I donāt. Itās a mid tier song.
More than Anything- It was cute and all seeing Lucifer be there for Charlie but it felt a little rushed. Plus it didnāt really stick out to me. If I listened to it again maybe it could grow on me but for now itās mid tier.
You Didnāt Know: Like I said with More than Anything, it didnāt really stick out. I liked the Seraphim taking Charlieās side and stuff but it didnāt really do anything. They were trying to protest and stuff but the song kinda felt useless after Sera made her final decision. Still mid.
D Tier (Songs I literally forgot about):
Whatever It Takes: No joke, forgot about this song only a week after I watch the episode. Thatās how bad this song was. I didnāt like the pacing in the song. Charlie and Vaggieās conflict felt rushed too so Vaggieās part felt unnecessary. Plus, we still barely know anything about Carmilla except she makes weapons and she loves her family so this song really falls through. I think the showās writing sabotaged this song but I donāt want to get into that.
Welcome to Heaven: š. My face during this song. Such a bad song. I guarantee to you that Iāll forget about this next week. I also just donāt like most of the designs from heaven. They look so tacky and rushed. I literally let out a disappointed sigh when I saw the seraphim. Most of my gripes about this is mostly just the character design. I know Viv put thought into some of the demons but the angels have me dead.
Hereās me ranting again about the show that doesnāt have anything to do with the songs. I just have so much stuff I want to rant about this show, some of it good and the rest bad. But thatās my tier-list so far.
