This joke got taken down by Reddit because mods said it was a repost (it wasn't).
A shy man decides to try something a little different so he decided to go to a cocktail bar that he has heard people at work talk about. Since he's more a 'drink a quiet whiskey or beer at home' sort of guy and doesn't particularly like crowds, he's unsure what to expect. So is pleasantly surprised to find the bar to be spacious, well decorated with a jazz trio playing in the corner and not many customers. Feeling a little more comfortable, he takes a seat at the bar and the bartender asks what he would like. Nervously, the shy man replies "Oh, I'm not sure. I've never had a cocktail before. What do you recommend?" Seemingly used to the question, the bartender leans on the bar and asks: "What's your favourite kind of flavour? Do you have any desserts or treats that you like in particular." Immediately the shy man replies: "Oh! I love mint chocolate ice cream. I don't have it often but I've loved it every since I was a child." Smiling, the bartender says: "I've got just the thing for you. A grasshopper. It's made with creme de menthe and chocolate liqueur. It should suit your tastes well." "Well," the shy man replies. "That sounds lovely. I think I'll give that a try." So the bartender gets his shaker and makes him up the drink. The shy man watches in wonder as the bartender pours out the green liquid, before placing the glass in front of him. the shy man gingerly takes a sip before exclaiming: "This is wonderful!" The bartender nods and presents the shy man with the bill. After paying, the shy man finds the cocktail very easy to drink, so he quickly finishes it and asks for another. After the bartender hands him the drink and bill, the shy man asks if there is anywhere he can sit quietly to enjoy the atmosphere. "Most certainly, sir," the bartender replies. "We have a veranda that you can access at the far end of the room. It's usually quiet out there." Thanking the bartender, the shy man takes his drink and walks uneasily through the room until he reaches the veranda. As he sits he noticed that it's rained since his arrive, leaving everything awash with the dampened glow of the city's lights. He feels at peace as he looks out upon the street, the jazz trio playing softly in the background. As he reaches for his drink, he notices that a little grasshopper is sitting on the table, obviously trying to escape the rain. A little drunkenly, the shy man leans forward and says: "Do you know that they have a drink named after you?" To which the grasshopper looks up and says: "What? It is named Kevin?"

The ideas behind white supremacy and white culture is not of some actual place from which one's pink ancestors immigrated but rather of a mythical place, a fairytale, a pale utopia where gods birthed the white race and let them spread across the world.
It's part of the pre-Nazi German nationalism, as well as from the Slavic nations. White supremacists just dress it up as being from actually places as part of a *real* history to give it legitimacy & give people something to wrongly believe.
Racists don't care about the reality of Scandinavian countries with their mostly liberal ideas nor of their real histories. they just want to fiction of their all White Gods making their all White Race having somewhere they can point to.

If non-whites, leftist, liberals and other groups started buying guns on mass, even without violent intentions for them, gun laws will be passed & the NRA will praise them.
How do I know?
Because it happened with Reagan when he was governor, signing the Mulford Act when the Black Panthers were buying guns for self protection.
So go out and buy all the guns you can. keep them locked in gun safes with bullets locked in a different safe but let MAGA & the GOP know you own them. See how quickly the laws change then.

As a middle aged cis-het white man I'm more then happy to say to someone younger than me "I'll fucking end you, son" if they abuse any of my friends for any reason.
I fought Nazis on the street when I was a teenager & I'll fucking do it again to protect my friends, their friends & others who are being abused.

This episode is one of the reason Aussie kids from the 80's are so fucked up yet can't be frightened or messed with easily. The other reason is why also watched Mister Squirrel & saw Mulligrubs as teenagers.

An interesting demonstration of how the human brain works.
But also something of a lesson regarding perception, and the unreliability of subjective perspective versus objective reality.
You can be extremely certain about how you perceive the world, your "lived experience," that which you "feel it in my heart." But that doesn't mean it's actually true. And it doesn't mean we have to endorse it, or ignore or outright deny objective reality.
That's a "you" thing, not a "we" thing.

The majority of us already pay more than the rich because they said "fuck 'em!" about us in a louder voice, backed with payments to the right people.
“Why should rich people pay more” because fuck ‘em
“So you are okay for paying more when you have money” I am not excluded from ‘fuck ‘em’ when relevant

I remember playing that map online o the Wii version when the lag was so bad I was unhittable by opponents, so won to a degree that it was practically cheating.
Was an awful experience too. Bad old days of internet speeds.
