The Kingdoms of Olympus and Atlantis had been opposing each other for decades if not centuries by now it was almost common knowledge that a long time ago the rulers of both kingdoms had gotten into a very big argument at the Winter Solstice conference about what well nobody remembers.

There have been times of war and times of treaty for fighting bigger threats but it has been going on far too long for most people’s liking, royal, noble, commoners, and anything in between. And so at the Annual Summer Solstice Conference a solution was brought up by Queen Hera.

Hera and Zeus are the rulers of Olympus while Poseidon and Amphrite were the rulers of the kingdom of Atlantis. There were other rulers such as Hades whose kingdom was more commonly referred to as the Underworld. And Athena of Athens.

But now back to Queen Hera’s plan.

“I think this feud has been Going on for far too long and many agree with me” Hera exclaimed. “It’s time to put an end to it!” “And how do you plan on doing that?” Zeus questioned.

“An arranged marriage, we unite the two kingdoms through a wedding, ending the fighting and in turn making both kingdoms stronger, besides, Jason is the perfect age and he would do anything for the benefit and betterment of the Kingdom” Hera explains.

“Well it does have a positive outlook and no certain way to fail in the logical sense” Athena agrees. “I think it is the best possible direction”

“Well then I think we have a plan—” “ I never agreed with this” Poseidon interrupts. “Besides I do not have a daughter the age of your child”

“You do have a son the same age maybe a few months younger, Perseus was his name wasn’t it?” Aphrodite counters. “Yes” Poseidon agrees unhappily. “Well then if Poseidon concedes I do believe we have a marriage and solution to our problems” Hera announces cheerfully.

“Fine” Poseidon relents “If it must happen I shall tell my son”

“Perfect, this meeting is now adjourned” Zeus declared.

Later after the meeting Poseidon wondered how he would tell his son he has to get married and he has to figure out whether or not it would actually stop war between the kingdoms. Because you see Perseus or Percy as he went by to his close friends and family was not your traditional prince while he is only seventeen years old it would be best not to underestimate him for he was a master swordsman, an amazing captain as one of the only people known to sail into a dreaded ocean known as the Sea of Monsters and the only one to come back alive, he was one of the most noble and loyal people one would ever meet. And he was stubborn and headstrong, if he disagreed or disliked something he would say as much.

“Percy would you come here please” Poseidon asked. “Yeah, sure, what’s up dad” Percy wondered

“The Council of Kings has come too a decision, we now have a way to end fighting between us and Olympus”

“ That’s wonderful but why do you seem upset about it, better question what did Zeus say to piss you off?” Percy questions.

“The way the Council decided to fix the problem is and arranged marriage, between Zeus and Hera’s son Jason and, well and you”

“So you’re saying that thunder thighs and the hippie cow lady want me to marry their kid, so they basically want ME as an in-law”

“Yes, unfortunately so, I’m sorry—”

“Okay” Percy interrupted, “I’ll do it on one condition”

“Of course I wasn’t expecting you to agree what is lead you to this decision” Poseidon asks confused.

“This not only gives us a way of peace, it gives me an opportunity to make Mr. and Mrs. stick-in-the-mud wish they were never born. And if I end up really unhappy or annoyed at angry etc. I can make it everybody else’s problem, it’s a win-win” Percy explains

Princes Jason and Percy would later meet and have the following reaction.

“So you are Percy I assume” Jason asks

“Percy, but yeah, that’s me” Percy answered “You my future husband Jason then”

“Yes indeed”

“Cool, you’re hot” Percy stated without hesitation.

“Wh-what” Jason sputtered.

“What a guy’s not allowed to flirt with his fiancé anymore, I swear people are the worst” Percy snarked, “I do think you handsome though and you have a pretty good vibe about you and I’m usually right about those kinds of things”

They would later get married, sharing vows and I dos. They get to know each other both do end up falling in love it ends up being a wonderful romance both are extremely happy. Atlantis and Olympus are now at peace and shall hopefully stay that way.

The rest as they say, is history.

so I have a fun little au in my brain what if the covey didn’t just fade into the seam and they kept their traditions like performing and their naming practices instead of just some songs and thinking about this have me an idea what if Katniss was just a nickname and on that train of thought I think her actual name would be Annabel Aureolin after the poem Annabel Lee and aureolin is a type of yellow I think it’s pretty and I think they kind of go together but I also think it would be cool if nobody but prim and her mom and other covey members knew her actual name

crazy how fanfic authors drop the most beautiful and gorgeous pieces of work ever, leaving you speechless and sobbing at three in the morning as you quietly contemplate the masterpiece you just read

and they don’t get paid for it they just do it because they’re having fun and they want to share their joy with you

I have an idea

so you guys know that Percy and Rachel spend an entire summer having an awesome friendship and the go to the same school for like nine months before that so I wanna know what shenanigans they got into like

“Will Mr. Jackson and Ms. Dare report to the principals office.

yesterday I started writing a book. did I make an outline? No. did I know what I was doing? Also no. Did I have a vague idea of a plot? Yes. Did I make 8 pinterest boards 7 of them being characters only one of the had I actually thought about? Absolutely. Do I have ideas for sequels even though I’m barely halfway through chapter 1? Of course. I do have a title though
